No need to buy one fish to eat one amphipod..... Besides a refugium is meant to allow your pod population to mature where predators aren't present. So, putting a wrasse in there would defeat the purpose of a refugium, would it not?

hi, thinking of trying this too. Do you know if it weakens the resultant water flow as the some of the energy from the water is used up rotating the spinstream? Hoping to get some reviews

yeah when blasting detritus off the rocks, bacteria & micro fauna is cast into the water column where our corals can have buffet

Looks like possible bacteria bloom after dosing carbon. Hope your oxygen levels are ok with the bacteria population exploding! is skimmer setting maxed out? Nitrates should drop as skimmer pulls out all that bacteria, usually skimate should increase after carbon dosing
