  1. ups.. still looking, deal in the west..
  2. they tend to reside in live sand & live rock... if you have too many & can't stand them, let me know. I'd gladly take them.. otherwise let them do their thing, they are quite amusing to watch, the way they move around, etc. They are more active in the night FYI
  3. Totally harmless detritus eaters. They are good for the tank.
  4. can consider 'protecting' the starfish while it eats. Depending on your starfish size, select a plastic bottle & cut off the ends, then place it over the starfish during feeding time. The shrimps won't be able to steal its food anymore
  5. Thanks bro, will shift them to higher flow area...
  6. Hi, looking for red galaxy & polar ice caps! Pls PM me if available...
  7. I see the nice purple ochtodes, very rich color man! hey, how do you keep the detritus from accumulating onto them? Mine's collecting gunk & has some nuisance algae growth on the insides of the clump
  8. Your SPS are so nice!!! Great colors on them, especially with the actinics
  9. Demand for them is high... Once come in from shipment must be the amongst the first to reach otherwise most will be gone.. Looks like gotta camp at the LFS update page
  10. oh is it? ok I learnt something new today
  11. Thanks man, indeed c328 has it. Cheers
  12. Try getting PO4 tested? High PO4 will directly inhibit calcification, but I'm not so sure if it can cause tissue recession. What's your feeding & WC schedules like? Spotted any nocturnal pests having a munch?
  13. Astreas should clean it up good. Brown might be diatoms
  14. Wow that's really great! Big way forward in keeping the hobby sustainable :)
  15. looking for the type in the last pic too - the blue & green mantle ones
  16. as in the dymax skimmer already comes with that limewood airstone by default? oh ok thanks, will be great if west side also have
  17. what's the red stuff? Is it a macro? Saw alot of it at Irwana but didn't know what it is. Looks quite good though!
  18. ok thanks, will be checking it out if I go to Irwana
  19. Yup thanks. My nassirius are going strong too, only the Astrea were the ones which died suddenly after two months of being in the tank
  20. Wow! SPS in a nano!! Bro, how you keep your parameters stable with such a small water volume?? power sia...
  21. Yup it does look very convenient for dropping the SPS in place! Each tier has like a slight depression too, so the frag will always be righted up? Hard to be knocked over by snails, etc
  22. Hi, sorry for digging up this old thread. But has anyone seen this sander airstone around lately?
