  1. Those frags are for a reef conservation program mah, harvested captive from the house reef so buy back is damn exp one buy aquaculture better IMO
  2. If I'm not wrong, its Ca & Mg levels are quite high, so that should be a gd thing when comes to maintaining levels? But yes, hopefully the experts can share opinions...
  3. Oic. Do you know if it's photosynthetic? Cos if yes then it takes most of its nutrition from the lights, no need to keep steady food source in the water... So the clam cleaning the water won't harm it too
  4. oh wow!! It's a white body with blue polyps!!! Very nice! Bro, can I know where you bought it from? Or pls let me know if you are fragging a small section of it in the future..........
  5. Yup I think it's a lobo. But it's in terrible state of health, looking at the tissue recession Any tips to nurse it back to health?
  6. Hi guys, went to buy some live rock & found this.. any idea what this is? Looks like brain, but unlikely leh?
  7. Yeah I am watching that botak spot everyday to ensure no algae... As for the positioning, it's the angle of the photo haha.. There's a couple of cm btwn them. Btw they won't warfare unless their polyps start to physically touch each other rite?
  8. Wah how you get it to be red?? Mine's purple
  9. Bo hua... Buy from LFS or fellow reefers way more economical haha
  10. It's gaya resort, at Kota Kinabalu.. Good rite, these reef restoration projects, especially when the reefs in the oceans are suffering.. Can adopt coral too, I adopted a brain lol. They place it in the house reef & send you periodic updates as it grows
  11. Hi bro it's doing ok, the white section is still there, doesn't seem to be expanding, still getting good PE adjacent to it. I hope it's not STN or something
  12. Hi guys, random... just sharing some pics of clams I took during my travels.. taken at a resort where they raise giant clams in captivity of re-introduction into the reefs when they are of a mature size & stable. Clams are endangered in the wild so this program they do is a huge thumbs-up for me! Pics taken under pure ambient daylight, no artificial lights whatsoever, but check out the amazing colors on the clams!
  13. yeah best to pry it off with screwdriver if you dont want it there on your rock......it's turning white? any pic of it?
  14. wow looks really good, tempted to try out the new product too! Bro, your blue sea fan is damn blue! It's like glowing blue! Can share a pic of it under white light? Interested to know what species it is
  15. Wah the red gonio poison........
  16. Bro sorry to hear that.. What's your phosphate levels? Some dosing can have impact on the levels.
  17. man, this zoa looks exquisite!!! What morph is this? The colors are insane! Great photography too btw haha
  18. Hi guys, have some frags of digi to swop for zoas - blue digi (about 2") - green digi (about 1") am open to topping up should the value of the trade differ... pls PM for pics exchange, deal in west. Thanks!
  19. hmmmm interesting! there's noticeable effect on the nitrate & phosphate levels, could be the BB at work too? I don't know if it makes sense to dose coral food, monitor the levels then, & then one day later... That can also tell how much they are cleaning your water? Will that work? otherwise is just monitor for more days with no skimmer & food to see if they can reduce the levels even further.. Bro your clams are your tank's natural skimmer
