  1. Wow with all that stock & variety, that can only mean the reefing scene in HK is active! Any idea if they have a local reefing forum?
  2. pls share pics of your new acquisitions when you are back
  3. that's great! IMO if the coral is showing signs of life then all is not lost.... Seems like it's responding to your care, great job man
  4. Well if you are in the west, try Marinelife at Clementi. Henry usually has CUC - astreas, spiny astreas, trochus, shrimps etc
  5. Hi is this a 30g tank or a 30L tank? From your photo looks like a 30L(10g) tank..
  6. For your holder what's the max adjustable height from top of tank?
  7. Hi there & welcome! What info are you looking for? More details on your planned setup would help too, in focusing the search. we have a sub-forum specifically for nano/pico tank reefers where they share their tanks & experience. You might be able to find what you are looking for there....
  8. No prob, it's ok! Wah laser gun.. power!
  9. I don't mind picking it up from you if you are really going to get rid of it... It can go inside my pest tank
  10. It can be removed quite easily.. I scrapped mine off the rock using a piece of flat plastic....No need to worry about pieces of it being left behind & growing into a new anemone, unlike aiptasia. that's one gd thing about majano, easier & less complicated to manually remove compared to aiptasia
  11. From the pic I'm guessing you probably have about 2ft x 1ft of space? Depth probably about 1ft but if you can shift that gray pipe ether backwards, can create more space. then, rest a decking or mesh or something flat on top of the glass, then you can put place water containers which can auto drip as the water level goes down. This will require almost daily maintenance though, cos your container volume won't be much more than 2L.... you able to place larger containers of top up water beside or behind your cabinet? That will give you more options
  12. Congrats!! Amazing looking tank man! The colors really stand out from the background. Particularly impressive is how you made one side look completely different from the other side! Many thumbs up! Really an inspiration for going into big tanks one day when I get more experience.....
  13. yeah I have a 10G with fan & everyday I am losing about 0.75L so I am not surprised with 2L especially on such a big tank. There are those top-up systems which use switches/float valves etc. Otherwise can DIY an ATO if you are feeling techie
  14. Sorry to hear about the spread of the bubble.. you are absolutely right about not rupturing them as that will spread the spores. Manual removal is effective - take out the rock, use a flat head screwdriver or scapel to scrap off the entire vesicle. If want to use natural method, can try emerald mithrax but pls note that sometimes they go for other stuff in your tank. Personally, I am for manual removal
  15. wow, looks like a very organized & well-maintained LFS! Is it one of the leading ones in HK?
  16. yah the green is very faint.... tried to take more pics under white & blue light...
  17. Thanks bro, looks great your stardust
  18. Hi guys, pls help to ID this zoa/paly... It's stalk is beige in color, center is slightly green, but no polyps....
  19. Bro, may I know what zoa is this? Very nice!!
  20. Hi guys, still available for trade. Am looking to trade for used test kits, additives, etc
  21. Great rockscape bro, looks very natural.. Nicely done!
  22. Thanks for the encouragement! Am putting it on my sandbed, low light with mod flow.. Feeding it small pieces of frozen mysis every 2 days What I'm still trying to understand is why it doesn't show any tentacles during feeding at all. Its mouth will slowly open to swallow the food, but no sign of feeder tentacles.. Hmm any idea why?
  23. Really?? Ok must get ready to chiong haha
  24. This blueprint is an indication of great things to come
