  1. irwana usually have blue sponge, always see when I go down. This wkend no chance to go though
  2. Nice! Looking forward to seeing your build come to life. Your scape looks good too, the rock walls will provide a safe haven for the microfauna to reproduce & grow. Agree, with a pump pointed in that direction, that should reduce the effect of any dead spots forming. I have a question on your tank stand - is it solid marble?? Looks damn exquisite! Also thought it is interesting that the front is totally open without any column support at the middle, considering your tank size.. Maybe there's other reinforcement somewhere?
  3. yeah, am closely watching out for algae bloom, right now it's just film algae on glass, hopefully it stays that way.. Anyway, just to share some pics of a frag which I am observing under sunlight exposure. Left is before suntan, right is a week after suntanning Right shows the color of my light together with sunlight. (tried my best to keep other factors constant, light settings, flow, KH, etc..)
  4. Yes agreed, since I have been bathing the tank with sunlight, I'm seeing increase of green film algae on the glass, which luckily comes off easily when I wipe the glass every few days.. Free meal for my livestock
  5. Oh they are just sitting on the top! Is some flow being blocked tho?
  6. Hi, looking for frag of Blue Cespitularia. Pls PM if available, thanks!
  7. Sold... Thanks for viewing
  8. Very nice & clean scape! Many colonies filling up your rocks but it doesn't look cramped! Looks very natural still! Nice! can share too, how you mount the SPS colonies on the glass at the top left hand side of the tank?
  9. Wow I like your scape, you have created the illusion of depth in a nano! Nice!
  10. that's the interesting question, see? Why get an additional 6500 when you have the sun?
  11. Ochtodes in my DT. Will need a lot of them to effectively play a part in reducing nutrients tho
  12. Hi, have a new GSP frag for sale. It's fully encrusted onto a 2" x 1" rubble mound. Going for $10. PM me if interested, thanks!
  13. Nice! How did you solve your bryopsis problem? You raised Mg or had to change out all the rocks?
  14. These last few days I have been trying natural sunlight on my nano too. My tank is in a location where it sees the afternoon sun. One noticeable difference is I have more PE on my tenius & I noticed Xenia pulsing more violently! Never seen such PE before & the tank looks great with the combination of sunlight & AI prime. Colors just seem more vibrant. I'm gonna continue experimenting to let in natural sunlight & see how the corals react, so far it's looking gd! Will be keeping a close eye on the temp though!
  15. Hi, anyone seen it? Still looking for it..
  16. Hi, my fan just crashed. Am looking for this Dymax W-7 fan to replace it. Anyone seen it in the LFS?

Dunno what SPS is this, was totally blue when I first got it.. Lost e color when my alk swing. Now the blue is slowly starting to come back at the tips
  19. considered it before, but didn't cos that would need me to peel off the black layer for a light to shine thru. Of course, can also have the light shine straight down from the top, but it's too small a surface area IMO.. so what I'm currently doing is an 'in-tank fuge' where a portion of my tank is for macroalgae. Several disadvantages though - can't run reverse-cycle lighting for the algae, can't use red LEDs, etc
  20. Wow that is really blue! Metallic blue somemore what is it? Is it a stylophora?
  21. I'd schedule another WC of smaller vol next few days, & use this opportunity to also siphon as much dinos as possible before they become a problem.
