Lol. Thanks Willy for understanding my pain. A $57 flame from CF up lorry in 3 days. Sad. I don't know why too. Did not show signs and was eating happily. Only thing is it tended to hide in the shade a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sharing some pics I managed to catch with my trusty Nikon D5100. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi @tuajia, haha I think that gonioporas are not fussy at all, my water was at 30 ppm nitrates the other day, and it still opened big. Haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes I did. That probably was my downfall. Haha. Anyway, I'll explore getting paraguard instead and pour some as a dip for a while before putting fish in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow I didn't know I had such an ardent fan! Hahaha. Okok. Here's the latest update from my tank. I did a terrible job with my QT that I decommed that instead and stuck to my DT with my fingers crossed! Fed my fishes immunity boosters and monitored them closely. They seem to be doing well! https://vimeo.com/141738130 Also got this beautiful goniopora from Fish Channel. My Sailfin Desjardini is also from TFC, and my blue tang is a stable fella from Fresh and Marine. The owners kept it in their display tank for a really long while, but recently decommed it due to flatworms infestation. Guess it's my lucky day! The flame angel is from Coral Farm, whom a reefer friend helped me to buy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok so I ended up having to restart my tank because the ich is very much blooming in my tank. I'm decomming to restart again. Taking some photos to remember my set up. I also took the chance to take a photo of my latest acquisition in my qt. A very nice Sailfin Desjardini Tang Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks @tuajia! I don't consider myself having the skills like the pros haha. I think I just have 7 corals and that might be why it is easier to find space for it. Whenever it gets crowded I just sell off my old ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi @Law88! Nice tank! Interesting selection of your fish. I would recommend to build your tank patiently and use a quarantine to ensure no parasites enter your display. Happy Reefing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Haha @shy88devil thanks for the thumbs up! Here's another update of my tank after I sold the corals and replaced them with new corals! https://vimeo.com/140443564 . I got another new colony of zoas in exchange for my previous one as this one had a smaller profile it would fit in more. Also I bought a pink Duncan as I sold my previous one to @shy88devil! Today I also bought my very first SPS! A stag horn! Finally, I also bought a Hector's goby to deal with my constant algae issues. Happy Reefing Everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all! It's been a while since I updated! Small tank la, can't put much. Haha. But since my last update there was a tragedy! *cue sad music* my beloved true perculas succumbed to sickness and died. how it happened was when I introduced a blue hippo tang to the gang. As you probably know by now, they are more susceptible to parasites as they have a thinner lining of mucus on them. Well, I had no idea how they were like so I happily added my first blue tang trying to re-enact a Finding Nemo scene as every newbie would. The inevitable happened and ich bloomed in my tank, had a field day and went on a rampage to kill every swimming thing in my tank, one at a time. First victim was the blue tang, then the royal gramma, and finally the pair of clowns. Sigh. But such is the lesson of hobbyist and I wasted no time to put together a quarantine tank to put future livestock in before allowing it into the display tank. I also decided I would allow the display tank to fallow for 6 weeks to make sure no other parasites had a chance to survive whichever stage they were in. I used the chance to rescape my tank then, and I also did some goodwill by giving and selling cheaply some corals that were in here and could not really balance out the new scape I was going for. So the smaller goniopora and the Aussie Duncans are sold and given away, and 1 golden cloves as well. I have more space for more corals now! suggestions anybody? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi guys! Here's the latest update on the tank! My hammer died. cos of strong flow so I've now readjusted. I'm also looking out for the rw4 cos it has different modes and can be set to pulse to mimic the ocean's current. Got the GSP as it is said to be good for new tanks. I also got a Midas Blenny! Cute little fella that likes to swim in between the clownfishes. https://vimeo.com/133815589 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
