Done.. I leave it for 1 weeks and test, parameter no change as before.. So a reefer pass me a bottle of bacteria and i just dose it on thurs night and fri night i test and to my surprise nh4-0 no2-0.1 no3-25.. So i sat did a water change and parameter nh4-0 no2-0 no3-10.. I let it run for another week then slowly add 1 to 2 fishes per week.. Sent from my LG-H961N using Tapatalk

Need some pointers and advice on wat to do next at this stage of cycling.. current parameter at Day 12 of cycling. Dun understand why my NO3 is so high where there is still trace of NO2.. Initial plan is to get a external skimmer. But due to footprint too big to fit in sump nor cabinet, gonna source for new skimmer. Narrow down to BM or Aquapharm. Due to AM have yr end sale and have 25% for Aquapharm product, i go for it.. Wanted to get a AP900 but end up buying AP1200 due to out of stock.. $299 after discount $225.. The traditional cycling method. Market prawn. Fire up the lights.. Still find my tank too noisy due to the downflow pipe in sump too short.. Having the splashing sound.. Did a small mode to reduce the sound by 95%. This extended pipe will do the trick. As now the pipe is only 1" above the water lvl. Compare the previous and current.. Time to filled it up.. 1st trip. 10packs.. 20packs more.. 2nd trip. 10packs more.. Balance 10packs.. Last 10s.. Back aching liao.. Done.. Shag.. But enjoying the process.. Balance.. Gonna use it to top up for evaporation as salinity is quite low at 1.022.. Tried something new today during top up.. Pour the water into ur sump and on ur return pump to suck it up to dt.. Some updates over the days.. Got some connecting fitting from kallang hai cheong plastic.. A good place to visit if u need to do piping.. They have wide range of stuffs.. Staffs are friendly too.. My final scape.. Figuring how do assemble this AI light stand. Done with the back parts. Done with hamging kits. Decided to use 2 filter socks. 7" cotton on the outer and 4" nylon on the inside.
