  8. Hi I have a beautiful juvenile potter’s angelfish to let go, about 1” in length. Very bright colouration with almost no dark patch on the body as normally seen in this species. Feeding on pellets. One of the more “reef safe” options when it comes to dwarf angelfish. Selling to reduce bioload in my nano reef. Looking at $60 for this healthy specimen from SAS.

  10. Available for trade / sale. Opens to about 3 inches in diameter. Ready for collection. Looking for: radioactive birdsnest colony, small green toadstool / sinularia, small clam, golden clove polyps, trumpet, elegance or other interesting lps. Can give 3 pieces of sexy shrimps which host the carpet anemone for free. RFS: Already have another mini-maxi and dont have space for 2 in my nano.
  11. About 20 minutes after lights off on the tank last night my RBTA released what looks like eggs. Thought it was just poop at first but it looked a little different so I decided to collect it. The "eggs" were black/dark brown and circular between 0.5 and 1mm in diameter, originally stuck together in a gel-like substance. I collected most of it with a coral feeder and put it in an API test tube. The "eggs" also float. Tried to do some research but there is very limited info on the subject. Most RBTA spawning info/videos are about the release of sperm. Also realized that it was a new moon last night which made me think it was a spawning event. Any reefers have experienced something similar or can confirm what happened? I have no other RBTAs in the system but have a couple of mini maxi carpet anemones. First few images show the "eggs" and the last shows what the RBTA looked like after. The RBTA has since gone back to normal.
  12. Hi im looking for the above. Please lmk if you have some to sell or know where i can get some. Thanks!
  13. This is a friendly reminder to all fellow reefers to always dip their corals irregardless of the source. I recently bought a few yumas from an LFS and upon initial visual inspection everything seemed fine. However, when dipped in Revive Coral Cleaner and using a turkey baster to loosen any debris, several dozen flatworms and even a few small red bristleworms came loose. The frags were totally infested. A second extended coral dip was performed after using bone cutters to remove as much of the rock as possible. Introducing that many pests into a reef tank can wipe out all the coral and require you to start the tank from scratch. Please beware. Would like to seek advice from senior reefers if it is advisable to reveal the LFS that was the source of the pests. Thanks.
