PS : How well a lfs do will depend on their experience, dedication and passion in their job - how else do you think water can be crystal clear in their tanks? cost money to get to that condition too you know?

Test it again by dipping my fingers into the water...strangely my other fingers seems ok except my thumb and only on the part between the nails and "meat" that the stinging sensation was exprienced - could be the salt reaction to wound? Anyway this prompted me to checked it out and realised there is such a thing called a PROBE for use in marine aquarium !!!

Use of Probe

There has been a thread somewhere before on the opinion of the best available salt for marine aquarium. It seems to point towards Kent Marine Salt......i am using Kent and is happy with the results.
