Hi seniors, anyone know what these are? They look like short hair strands, white or pale brown in color, that attaches itself to rocks. When I use a turkey baster to blow them, they come off very easily as small short whitish strands floating in the water column. Could they be algae? Or precipitation of some sort? Hi to all Shifus and seniors, I had an octopus coral which fell from its placed position and two heads got a got squashed for a couple of hours. After rescuing it, I noticed there was a purplish 'blister' wrapped around these heads. Can I ask if they are dying? Tentacles doesn"t seem to come out ever since (one day so far).
