I'm currently cycling my tank and all the live rocks are covered in Diatom. So it's not dangerous to the fishes or corals if I start adding them? The last time I cycled my old tank it wasn't that bad. All I got from the first time was some greenish and purplish algae.
After a while they will get use to it as they are scared. But you might want to feed them at night when lights are off so that they are getting proper feeding since that's when they come out
Hey everybody, just an update. Got my water from iwarna. Decided to get distilled water as I have left over salt from my previous tank. Still have heeps of salt left. Tank is going well so far, just started cycling it.
Whoa thanks everyone, really greatful for your help. I think I'll get the NSW as it's cheaper and I'm thinking of adding corals.
Last question.. Where can I find NSW? I've tried looking for it online but all I got was PUB sites and the waters off Singapore.
Hi everyone. I just got a big tank from a nice seller, However the tank is about 200+ liters. So I was wondering what would you recommend in filling it up? Tap water mix with salt? Or is there a company that does large volume of distilled water or salt water.
I know the tap water in Singapore has some amount of nitrate and chlorine.
Please advice
Oh. OK. So I should cycle the tank longer?? Is white spots caused by that.?
Its has been going great till last week. But my chromis and corals are doing well tho. It was just my clown.
It doesn't look as interested in the food as before. So I think it's going down hill. Do I need to do a full water change in my tank since its been infected with white spot.
