May I know where is the place of collection?
-
Yo bros, want to hear opinion. I have a very small tank in the office, thinking of changing it to a marine tank. 1. The size of the tank is roughly 11 inch (length) 7 inch (wide) 7 inch (height) 2. Normal FL light 3. Normal filtration...with some rooms for bio-media. Do you guys think it is possible to use it for marine, maybe with the following setup: Option1 1 - 2 pieces of LRs 1 anemone and 1 maroon clown Option2 1 - 2 pieces of LRs 1 mushroom coral or buttons 1 damsel Possible?
-
Yo brothers. Just want to hear from you guys, especially those who have experience on this. I have a pair of happy false percula clowns in my tank now, but no anemone. My friend wants to give away its maroon clown and ask me whether I want. I believe maroon is more aggressive, will it bully my existing pair?
-
Ya, chromis is cool in at least a group of 3. 1 may be too lonely. Yellow Wrasse may have a problem with the False Gramma, mine used to have issues Try not have damsels, they may disturb the chromis. My long fin cardinal eats flake too.

I think the Sand Sifting Sea Stars are reef safe too

Agree with Helldust. Seriously look like Bluelined Trigger

Yo bros, Can anyone advises what will be the good corals for bottom placement, and require only little lighting? I only know Sun coral is one of them... http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Di...d=22&pCatId=517 What about those corals under Fungiidae becos they are usually for bottom placement I think. Does it mean low light requirement? Beside the above, anymore? Thanks.

Used to have them in my turtle weed. They seemed to feed on the weed itself...###### out the sap.

Thanks. What I have in my tank is: 1 Black Back Butterfly 2 Green Chromis 1 Blue Tang 1 Long Fin Cardinal 2 Common Clowns 1 Yellow Wrasse 2 Fire Shrimps 1 Boxer Shrimp Not sure whether have any crabs or mantis shrimps...hidden in rocks.

Yo brothers! Need some advice. Bought a Blue Sea Star around 3 - 4 weeks ago. Seemed that it prefers to hide behind rocks all the time. Try placing it on the sandbed at different position twice but it will crawl its way in. So I thought it prefers those place thus I left it alone. Yesterday saw one of its arm extend out and so shocked to see the tip of the arms is...gone... Quickly remove the rock and took the star out to check. All the tips of the arms are gone...look like kena chewed off or broken... Anyway know what is the cause? Maybe crabs attack? So sad...but the star is still alive...must be badly injured.

Yo bros, Situation I am definitely very green wif equipment so need some advice. I had been using a cheap protein skimmer (ard $8) for quite some time. Was with my old 2ft tank then transfer to my existing 4ft. It is those type that you need to stick it to the tank wall and it have a cup on top to collect the 'dirty stuff'. Problem The skimmer kept falling into the water! No matter how hard my dad and I tried to secure it, it simply got loose in a couple of days and fall again, and of course, the precious 'collection' will go back to the tank... Thus, is there actually a better type of skimmer that wont give such problem? Please provide me with the brand and model, if applicable. Thanks ah!!!!

Ahhhhhh ~~~~ so sad. I dont care abt the dispute here ... but what a pity for me to miss this thread becos I am looking for Blue Green Chromis too...LOL Only managed to find normal the Green Chromis thus far, cant seemed to find those Blue Green ones...

Oh thanks for the clarification. I think I am looking for paraluteres prionurus - Mimic Saddled Filefish. Anyone have seen it recently in any LFS? Thanks again.
-
Hi Bros, Anyone knows? I believe Mimic Saddle Puffer is a filefish, not really a puffer. Puffer are usually more aggressive. In any case, they are so similiar, anyone knows hw to differentiate them easily? Or where have such filefish? Thanks!
