  1. I used super glue and epoxy ... worked for me. Usually wait till they starve to death then fall off the rock, then I just pick them up.
  2. Thanks for the advice. Will take note next time >
  3. Given to me by a friend, but I ran out of space. A few scratches in the front , which is curved. Had the intend of making it into a sump, space constrain , so I am giving it away. Self-collection in Tampines. Pm me or leave a reply. P.s Ignore the items in the tank now >.<
  4. I have a few space terrapin calcium block and I am wondering if I can drop them into supplement my reef tank. Any opinion? Thanks in advance >

  8. Great responses. Thanks everyone. But I don't really know what LFC are TFC and AM , could I get their full name and location ? I might want to check them out.
  9. I have notice that some people recommend asking the LFS to feed the fish before you purchase. I am just wondering if it is rude ? Have anyone tried it before?
  10. Haha, didn't know what to do and I didn't want to risk injecting the coral... Luck saved me this time ... Thanks for the advice, I will bare that in mind the next time I encounter any aiptisia

  13. Hello... I currently have a 2 feet by 1feet by 1.5 feet aquarium running, and I am keen on shifting to a tank with an internal overflow sump(IOS) as I don't have the luxury of space for a sump. I have a couple of question regarding IOS aquarium. 1)What is the price for them usually ? 2)Will there be enough space to fit a skimmer? 3)Any reputable aquarium which you feel that I should get the tank from?
  14. Thank god ... It shifted to a piece of sand granular which i toss into the toilet boil. Haha .. Problem resolved
  15. I got mine for less than $5 at a LFS (pacific marine i guess its called). He kinda got eaten by one of my fishes ... So I don't know how well he would have fair..
  16. I bought a pair of peppermint shrimp from a store yesterday, drip acclimated them for 30 minutes. (Till about twice the original water level.) I shifted them to a holding tank to check if they are stressed or ill, and I don't notice any obvious signs of illness. But when I introduced them into my display tank, they collapsed and appeared dead. What could have gone wrong? I don't have a nitrate test kit , but my ammonia levels are below 0.02ppm , specific gravity at that time was 1.026, temperature 29 Degrees Celsius.
  17. I am new to marine tanks too and I am speculating here ... Perhaps you introduced too many fishes at a time, causing your system to crash under the new bio-load.
  18. Wow. Haha Thanks for all the great answer. I would try to pinpoint an answer.
  19. Should I wait for it to move? or should I go with a biological approach (shrimp) ?
