I use tap water and then use phosguard to remove any phosphate and silicate ... Phosphate reads 0ppm ... dk about silicate haha Hope this helps.

Hmmm have been using the biofuel awhile... Nitrates drop to 0ppm hard , on the first day o.o ... From 160ppm to 0ppm within 3hrs. Have been like that for 3 days (0ppm) [Maybe because I remove all the fishes, crabs and snails remain and I do feed them] Hope this helps

I removed all the dead worms haha ... I have a skimmer and I did cycle the tank before adding any fishes ... about 1 month cycling with bacteria dosing (daily, for that month) Haha ikr , lucky drop to 0ppm le ... Last for the whole day ... Will slowly add the livestocks back when it hits the 7th day.

No money buy coral dip now =.= hehehe.... Btw to update on the water perimeter ... nitrate 0ppm, did water change and got bio fuel haha ... If this goes on, I will slowly migrate the fishes over back to the display tank.

I guess that's where the nitrates are coming from.

I think I will mix up a new batch of sea water and shift the fishes there till I get to the bottom of this ...

I have a friend who doses brightwell biofuel , he say he has never had nitrates pass 0.03ppm haha ... I am planning to buy a bottle for myself soon
