  2. Got mine from freshnmarine I not sure where else got haha .Cave man >
  3. Brightwell's Reef biofuel worked for me when I used it last time .... Dropping my nitrates from 160ppm to 40 ppm , but obviously wasn't enough for my bio load so I switched to a reactor ... (had 2 puffers and alot of reef fishes on a daily feeding regime, cute fat couple haha, 20 gallon tank, about 2months old back then.) Then again , every tank is different ... So I can't be absolutely certain of stuff haha ... Don't give up on reefing just yet ^^ Cheers p.s what is the thing on the left of your tank? hahaha
  4. Thanks haha will look out if I get another hammer Now that i think of it ... It was healthy up until the goniopora coral was added ... Any one knows if the goniopora is having a chemical warfare with the hammer? Will running more carbon help?
  5. How to tell if healthy at the store? haha wondering
  6. I really dont know what to do liao -.- ... I now moving him back into higher flow regions ... Now can see the skeleton le ....
  7. I am not sure what's going on. NO3-5-10ppm pH 7.8 Ammonia- 0ppm Salinity 1.023 Temp- 29 degrees Celsius p.s some suggested me to move it to a lower flow area, just moved it today.
  8. Mine usually don't ... Has been there for alot of days le -.-
  9. Got a new hammer coral and goniopora coral hehe. Found a crab within the rocks. Requesting for ID in the ID forum Will take photo of the whole tank next time haha
  10. Found this guy running around the rocks when I was removing hermit crab molts haha
  11. Had a few boxer shrimp already. And they just keep failing to molt properly. Is there something wrong with my water? 1.022 salinity. No3 5ppm NH3 <0.02ppm No other test already haha. Is there any water parameter I should look out for?
  12. Carbon dosing. Brightwell biofuel (liquid form) or bio pellet reactors. It works for me but bio fuel just doesn't have the kick for my tendency to overfeed XD. It reduces my nitrate from about 160 to 40 (api test kit back then) but never pass below 40. So I switched to bio pellet reactor.
  13. Every tank is different in a way or the other Don't worry much about it. As of what you can do , more water frequent water change and less light time . since cycling don't really need much light or any light at all. Happy reefing. Cheers p.s any one more experienced than me can feel free to correct me A-lot for me to learn still
  14. Whr in tamp. Haha I am kinda interested p.s ... oh wait kinda too big for my tank o.o now photo then load haha ... Sorry

  17. I recently got this but it's too big for my system, I am afraid that it will deplete my copepod population too quickly. Selling at $7 and I am willing to trade with a smaller mandarin Pm if interested
