used to be using 150 MH ...now using 4 x t5s.... heat generated from the former is hot enough to burn your hands if u touch the equipment after half and hour or so... hardly any pain due to heat at all handling the t5s...after hours and hours of operating hope that helps..

pardon my ignorance...but what's an "ios" tank? and...would this MCE 600 be overkill for a 3 x 2 x 2....think about 50+ to 60 US gallons.

Got 2 light sets 1) 4x36 watt PL light 3ft....1 of the 4 is fused. currently has 2 lamps only. some minor repairs needed. - $10 2) Atman 2 x 150 watt MH with 4x PL 18W?11W? blue lights... both MH fused - need repairs. 2 power cords - 1 for MH, 1 for PL $10. Any takers?

Was the extrema used with the macro?If so, whats the result like? IS it a hangon skimmer?

I'm using Venture Lighting and Osram's bulbs. Previously was just using PL lights. Have seen the lowest priced "The Ben" timers at Best Denki outlets.

Have been using them for the past 6-7 years too....guess must take them out and clean them abit....they sure collect loads of dust

Hi, I have a few of The Ben timers that I have used for the past several years. Recently the lighting sequence seemed to be going haywire after changing the lighting. The lamps come on even when the timer is in "off" position. Anyone ever encountered this?? Is it a sign that I need new timers??

DIY to 3-pin plug Chipped near switches (usable though) 2x used 10k bulbs 3x un-used bulbs that came with the light One of the 4 needs repair - wont light up. Perhaps fused. Collection at Henderson rd or Bradell MRT station.
