Definitely camping here! Way to go Larry!

Haha! Thanks for the kind words. I actually thought it's rather messy. Well, I didn't mean to keep a softies dominated tank initially. But it kinda turned out that way and I just went with it.

It has been too long since I updated anything here. Work had been really hectic the last six months and tank maintenance had to take a back seat. Still doing the basic maintenance but not as frequent water change and not monitoring my water parameters as rigorously. Fishes are generally stable and well, but for corals, it is now almost a softie tank as they (and BTAs) grow and dominate the tank.

A tank you never stare enough at ... amazing, Mike!
-
Looking good Mike! Is that the same red stag from Kaijuworld or another one?
-
Good for you bro! Yes the fan goes faster with higher voltage and also becomes more audible.
-
Oh yes. I think the adaptor came with a number of jacks. Choose the right one and make sure the polarity is correct. I don't remember exactly how but I think I played around till the fan rotates.
-
Hi bro! Using the sun power too. I set the voltage at 7.5V at the adaptor. Your other configurations/connections look alright to me.
-
Bro, I believe Mike (yellowtang) has a couple to give away. Pm him.

For the eye candy .... This is a thread worth subscribing to! Nice one bro!

Haha! Very simple scaping actually. I'm sure your comeback tank will look much better! I'm looking forward to see your updates of your tank!

Finally took out my DSLR to get some shots. Here's the very difficult to capture male Cirrhilabrus tonozukai: The very cute looking Midas blenny: And a closeup of a recent forest fire digi:

Beautiful videos and fishes!

Always looking forward to your updates. Keep it up bro!

Downloaded a new camera app on iPhone and decided to test it on some shots of the tank.

Forest fire digi frag from bro Kaijuworld

Mostly frags...

Some zoas...

Zoa frags ...

FTS (without fish)...

Anyways, this app is called cortex cam and it takes dozens of shots in a couple of secs to obtain a virtually noiseless, crisp photo. Pretty impressive! Though things that move too much like fishes will end up just some faint blur streaks. Good for taking photos of coral close up using iPhone in my opinion.
-
Still have some very nice frags available! Up for you!
-
Haha! Relax bro!

Congrats bro!

Tank crash!!! Need advice
jquek replied to surreal1228's topic in SPS and Advanced Reefkeepers Forum
Condolences for the loss. -
Want to sell a palm size colony of briareum sp., an encrusting gorgonian that is often sold as the green star polyp. Unlike the gsp, this does not have the purple mat, instead it has a more rubbery greyish colored base. Requirements similar to the gsp - thrives best under high light and at least medium flow, but its hardy and can adapt to different light conditions.

Branching growth form with branches that curve inwards on itself. Selling to clear space.

Refer to pic just taken under blue plus t5s for reference :

Another pic with polyp somewhat retracted (disturbed it) to show growth form:

Looking at $50. SMS or whatsapp me at 97712457. Prefer to deal either weekday nights (except Wednesday) or this long weekend at serangoon/AMK area.

Jerry
