Although the scaping is not really consider nice, I have always kept all four sides of my tank algae free. As advise by Tofubox (TOTM) earlier, to keep things simple and the background clean. -

By first week of Feb, battle with algae won. But sadly my seahare died last weekend think maybe no more hair algae? As mentioned by the previous post, tank is getting cluttered like garang guni with many different SPS but yet all frags, totally lost the minimalist feel. So rescaping was on my to do list. Below is the scape I did on 6 Feb, managed to clear a bit here and there and looks neater too. Was quite satisfied when I completed this seriously. -

The Maxspect Glaive have been dismantled and refitted into a slimmer packaging hahaha. It finally combine power with the T5 Not sure if I have brought up previously, purely using Glaive is insufficient for SPS growth thus decided to use T5 which is more proven. Had also DIY my own light stand, purely for fun and for my own satisfaction. -

Last post of the year. Recently quite busy and have no time to update. Have been battling hair algae and algae on the glass, there is always a thin layer of algae on the glass and will come back within a few hours after scraping off. New tank syndrome maybe? Not to mention got lots of lime green algae on the rock. Added a sea hare, sea cucumber, mandarin fish and Cardinal. Existing livestock a pair of common clown and a small blue tang. Equipments wise, have replaced the wavemaker to RW4 and one small sunsun JVP110 at the other end. The current is perfect! Liked the night mode especially. As my room is very dark with all the black curtains 24/7, I placed the wavemaker controller to where its exposed to my DT light and can sync with the timing automatically. DIY an algae scrubber too, finger crossed it will work as everyday scrubbing tank is becoming frustrating Lights I have changed to Delightings 4 ATI tubes which I bought from a fellow great reefer. Currently using blue plus, blue plus, coral plus and blue plus as per what it already is. Any comments shd change to other tubes? Corals wise got a lot of new corals from bros selling at the pasa malam and also the generosity of some who pass me some FOC on hearing tat I'm a newbie. Too many i can't ID, got to slowly sort it out. Tats about all for my diary and happenings so far. Oh I still got a Glaive led light set which was put up for sale previously. I have since then dismantle it to pieces and trying to complement the T5 light. Having the best of both world hopefully. Followings will be some photos for your viewing pleasure and thanks for reading. Wish all the Brothers and Sisters fellow reefers a very Happy New Year!!! Shadow Walker Signing off... -
You remain to be one of the reefer with an amazing tank yet without using fanciful lights.
