  1. I was told that it can clear algae but it seems to ignore them but will chase henry's reef gourmet like mad [emoji29] So i guess short answer is they just look nice

  7. Just stuck the hose in there are u wont hear the pumping and crashing sound. Just make sure you dont totally restrict the water flow
  8. For me the noise comes from chiller and down pipe. Down pipe i just stuck 2 rubber hose in and no more noise. Chiller cant be helped.
  9. Hmm my hair algae is much longer. Was told that copperband butterfly, peppermint shrimps and super tonga nauccirus snails can help. For normal algae can get trochus snails. Recruited all of them and cleaning in progress since yesterday. So far positive result

  13. Just bought a bali torch from Ng couple this afternoon. When selecting, get the stable one (i.e. fully extended) and obviously the one with more heads. I also just learnt today that there are thin and fat tentacles types. So up to your preference (i dont know the difference apart from aesthetics) Lastly i also learnt that SG variance torch have rough and thick exoskeleton as compared to bali which is smooth, longer and smaller. Contributing 2c that i learnt this afternoon

  17. I think for fowlr tank the salinity should be lower at 1.015 to 1.017. Lesser salt n lesser chance for itch

  22. I wanted to feed my bubble coral with a piece of meat and the clownfish chiong over and bite the piece of meat. Obviously too big for him and is stuck in his mouth. See attached pic. Been like this for past 15mins. So I "man-handle" it or let it be?
