  1. Some slime is normal. I get that quite often.
  2. Personally I feel it has to do with the sand. Im using the ocean direct pacific black sand just recently. Took around 1 day to clear.
  3. Im also running chiller and fan on 4ft. About 2l also
  4. My 4ft tank chiller also keeps kicking in very often. Electricity bill around $100 extra/mth. Just added a fan in my sump, chiller kicks in a lot lesser. I guess the trade off will be topping up water more frequently.
  5. Yup the war was in a 1ft cube x 2ft height. So u can imagine the space is quite limited. Since then no one in the family dares to get another anemone haha
  6. I had a california black sea hare previously. Effective at clearing algae and died about a month after algaes were cleared. Was told it isn't poisonous. When it died, the body melted and some purple substance released. However inverts and fishes were happily nipping away its carcass. No crash whatsoever. Bought from ML. In my dad's tank, he once bought 1 carpet anemone and I think 1 bubble anemone (added later). Both fought to their death and the tank crashed.
  7. Bro the image is too blur to id. U can try to id stone crab. I have found a dozen in my tank. If reef tank, many crab species are bad. If fowlr, nice snack for squrriel fishes, puffer, trigger, etc
  8. Polyart yishun, just now saw 2 tanks designated for marine fishes. Various clown fishes, yellow tail damsels, powder blue tang, gobies.
  9. 20-30% daily would be better and healthier for the fishes until good parameters are back. I tried 100% change before. It didnt end up well for everything.
  10. Lol free bones left, hopefully [emoji23]
  11. Yup I bought a 5" sea hare from ML before. Effective at clearing algae. Then no more algae and it starved to death. Never had the opportunity to grow big haha.
  12. Haha 1 day when u forgot to feed the eels, the trigger fish shall become their happy meals [emoji28] Really daring fish u have there
  13. Nope cant tell where he is.. kena eaten alive?
  14. Bro could it be micro bubble from the skimmer? Sometimes new or cleaned skimmers will leak micro bubbles for awhile until some slim covers the outlet.
  15. Maybe your goby creating sand storm. It happens with fine sand
  16. The small sign board says (marine fish). Yes its on the left and infront is a construction site.
  17. Infront of the lfs is a construction site. Opposite are the pet shops. Went there 3 times, even though quite big area but I thought that not many variety available. A lot of clown fishes though
  18. Skimz have a hob filter sm201 and sm202 i think. Im using that for my 2ft tank too.
  19. Just a reminder.. if you have liverock, every shrimp crab snails worms would be dead too if u dose copper.
