its probably due to lack of trace elements in the tank?
remember se* ch*m has a product call trace elements for marine fish?
notsure tho, gurus please confirm n advise
because the hose is damn dirty aft 3 months of use, so better to get new ones...the pipes have been modified jia lat jia lat...so cant put into the package...they can be bought easily at cheap prices outside...
i'll normally defroze my brine shrimp, remove the water content, add S** C**m garlic guard, let it soak n freeze it again....my LS will eat direct with the garlic...seems to work, no ich problem so far...
kinda gd method but placing a bag of coral chips in sump will accumulate detirus after sometime n in turn raise NO3? not sure on how long coral chips need to place in sump to raise calcium to preferred level...gurus please support n confirm....
thanks shi fus...
there's another reefer who also told me that he has been mixing salt for months and till now his tank is matured n problem free....maybe you're right that e salt mix will replenish the trace elements....will give tat a shot....someone also told me that water from LFS might contain some dirty or bad bacteria in it...dun know how true is tat..
hi shi fus...
would like to know your opinion:
during a water change, is it better to:
1) use seawater bought from LFS or
2) mix salt in water
thanks in advance!
