  1. IMO it is better to mix salt water yourself, sea water from lfs may contain harmful bacteria.... think better to cycle the tank lor....more safe this way my 2 cents

  5. the cup has many holes on it, each hole has one polpy which will extend out....very nice when fully open, so far i dun feed it specially...still doing very well...

  11. yea....agree too, best to cycle first, but can try put in your main tank, maybe cycle faster? is it cured?

  13. i had my surface skimmer hooked up quite near to the water surface, but enough for the water to go in n sucked up if not the flow breaks... maybe u can try adjusting it higher n make the suction bigger by turning the control valve.... my 2 cents
  14. yea...it happens to mine too, when it gets bloated up, it gets blown by the current too....at least i know they are doing well....keke
  15. hmm......one of the lfs told me it will makan slow moving gobies....dun know how true it is....

  17. its abt the length of your pump,looks ok in a 4ft or 5ft tank.... interesting to see it rotate non-stop...

  19. hi people.... just saw this new sort of internal filter??? attached to a pipe with two outlets, can rotate 360 degrees, much better than eden.....saw it at eaquarist display tank......kinda interesting....

  21. can also try those micro-algae foundon live rocks too...they seem to do well with sufficient light.....triedthe grapes, they melt quite fast...
  22. brazillian gramma seen at one of the LFS, may be brought in from Irwana....2 pieces spotted together with another type of gramma, blue n yellow....
