  1. Have 5 female blue eyes anthias for sale at 60 dollars . eating formulae 1&2, frozen mysis and brine. 1 tropic Marine Biocalcium ( Unopen) at $15 ;454grams collection in sengkang, pm if interested
  2. both no and ho are not enough if u are using 2 tubes
  3. 2 X T5 HO are generally good enough for most LPS , softies provided ur depth is not more than 18inches . As for mi i will go for 2xT5 HO as if i feel that the lighting is not enough, i can add another 2 more. with 4 HO , u can keep most stuff. And good T5 HO tube is easy available as compare to NO. As for clam , i dun feel that with 2 T5 is enough for it to thrieve.
  4. my gut feeling tell mi u are getting ricordea florida
  5. what skimmer were u using previously. aquabee 1000 and compact 1002 seem good but they do not come with needlewheel as far aas i know .
  6. u can be pretty sure that dead rock is safe haha. leave all rocks to sun for 7-7 49 days . should be okie =)
  7. damn funny lah . i help u to clear the 'rubbish' lah . since i get it together with u one.
  8. i know the territory well. i will be CO for today's mission. Mission: To clear their exotics in their tank. D-Day H-Hour: Today. Now . Casulty: throw back inside their tank. Pp, draw ur weapons( glove and plastic bag with rubber bands) now. for fishtalk's mission take at least 200 plastic bags for yvonesyl, take 50 plastic. He has a tub ready for us to take immediately , no need so much plastic bag
  9. just went to reefdepot with yvonesyl to see the solaris and Mce 300 .... might add a hydor nano wavemaker to increase flow from the front. Anyway the next big thing will happen to yvonesyl. really him for his plans .
  10. ya lor ... hee hee ... nothing to update mah . recently i got an frag of eagle eyes from a handsome reefer haha. now in school library registering for subjects lor . sianz . almost last day of the year le ! a new beginning , which mean i am going to the working world soon . =) better to be blur . better not to measure everything . once i measure this , i worried this, i measure that i worried that haha. just assume ... ammonia 0, nitrite 0 , nitrate 0 , pH always 8.21, kH always 9, Calcium constant 420, Magnesium constant 1380, phosphate 0. ya i wish lah.
  11. where is ur dry scaping for ur main tank
  12. well.. off ur skimmer for a while and u will know whether it is from ur skimmer. or either off ur canister for a while ... i guess most likely if from the skimmer .
  13. hee hee really lik emy new phone. anyway now ur sandbed has more breathing space now haha.
  14. most likely ur skimmer is weipro 2011 or 2012. most likely ur next step is to get some LR to kick start the cycling process. some testkit such as ammonia, nitrite, nitrate will help u determine whether ur cycling had completed. i would advice u to get some cured LR from reefer who are letting go their LR. placing ur skimmer pump so near the sandbed will risk ur sand being suck in by the pump and clog ur skimmer ... in the meanwhile read more and save up more money haha
  15. ya ... many reefers do that . adding bicarbonate is the only way to increase the kH without affecting the pH
  16. look pretty impressive... must really take a good look if i wanna switch to this guy. hope the physical size is not hugh like tunze streams. have been a tunze user and no complaint so far , but the nano probably take ages to come too. so have it reached aquamarine ?
  17. from what i have been using , seachem reef builder seem to be the best kH addition to the tank , however i have switch to grotech , u might wanna tried that . it is economical for german branded product.
  18. yes u should not wash ur sand if u are talking about live sand like those aragonite sand with live bacteria, package with seawater. if u are talking about those coral chip at grade 0 for substrate , i would advice u to wash ur sand as clean as possible using tap water. they are dead anyway. if u had set up ur tank already , normally we dun wash our substrate when we are changing water , too much of a hassle.
  19. i always thought that the hydor nano wavemaker is self rotating or manuelly rotatable by the reefer himself. if it is self rotable, it is definately a good buy , even better than tunze nano i guess.
  20. just in case some of u all think i am crazy. yes i clean my skimmer cup almost daily . i love cleaning it till it is sparkling clean haha.
  21. anyway recently i noticed i have some green 'wired' problem but disappering slowly with recent addition of 12 snails. running about 100ml of rowaphos in the FR currently. add chemipure too. simply love the clarity. fishtalk commented that it look crystal clear haha
