yup i set it at 26.0.. so the range is from 25.6 to 26.4 =) i have less prob when the temp is lower. algae lah etc ... yup i love my catalina cylinder ... 3.5l. a real good buy!

Hi bro, for me i velcro it to the back of my tank near to my pH monitor. as for the sensor, i place it among my messy equipment. not not far away from the monitor.

yup the sound was emitted when i am doing my caliberation far from other sound sources. but surprisingly it stopped this mornign when i woke up. no more such sound. thank kelstorm.

Hi i just bought a american pH controller. just wanna ask those who are using this controller whether this unit give a humming sound constantly( or should it be silent) upon connecting to the power supply. many thanks.

phosphate at 5ppm is one of the extreme of extreme. i suggest u do water change often... dun even need to run FR as media will get exhaust very very fast ( at 5ppm) and it is a waste of money. change lot vol of water to bring down ur phosphate. the nitrate will be exported during water change as well

If u get a pro to maintain... u will probably have less troubles.... but u will missed lotsa fun, knowledge etc. AM and GEO aquatics are great! Equipment wise. Normally Good is not cheap, cheap is not good. (just a guide). Ur equipment will varies Depending on what u wanna keep. Try Aquamarine or Reefdepot from SRC sponsor. They have wide range of professional equipments. Talk to them and do some research on your own ( talk to more reefers) before u make a choice.

ur magnesium might be a bit low. slowly boost to 1300ppm to be comfortable. ( anyway i dun think the low mag cause the ' monti to turn white' I belive they are growing instead. Show a pic of ur coral to confirm.

check ur salinty. The rest of the parameter is within acceptable range. a pic of ur system with FTS will be great for us to analyse the prob.
