  1. just added aquamedic hydrocarbonate as substrate for my tank , courtesy from jervis .hope that will give my tank a more stable kh and calcium. nothing much to update recently as no buying of stuff loster , the 20kg of marine environment just sit in my cabinet doing nothing as i dun change water as often as before le. maybe that's why i have unstable kh too .i am using the coral marine right now for water change . now i dun seem to have phosphate and nitrate prob but rather kh. ca and mg yet to measure . maybe i will get a shock after i measure. maybe i should not measure haha
  2. i think i overdo it . pH :8.4 kh :12
  3. maybe u can give your tank parameter . ie ph kh nitrate . phosphate. calcium and magnesium iodine will improve colour of coral but other than that there are other too
  4. drive along jalan kayu toward yio chu kang road , just before the plant nursery , turn right into this road call farmway something ... should be on your left side
  5. wowo.. very interesting product for nano reefer .but a pity not in local market
  6. the few reason that i think my kH went down dosing of AZ-NO3 phosbuster increasing feeding due to my anthias
  7. latest reading : after 45min : ph:8.2 kh:8 tired le . tomorrow will buff it to at least 10 .for the next few day , will test pH and kH diligently to ensure a constant buffering . jervis , u use hydrocarbonate as substrate right ? can u pm mi the price of the smallest package ?
  8. by right lah ... by left , now my kH is still at 6 lor . haiz .... once my pH is at 8.2 , i will stop using TM triple buffer and continue reef builder . trace elements , no way to measure lah . the only concern i have right now is whether my calcium level will depreciate to a very low value with adding of carbonate and bicarbonate salt .
  9. didnt know that attachment is more busy than studying life . yup .. now must spend more time with galfriend too. if i tell u that i have no diatom on my tank wall , i will be lying to u . there is still some but very very minimum the triple buffer control trace element , kH, pH. but one thing i realise about TM additive is that they have low solubility .
  10. latest ph reading 7.7 alkalinity 6dkh. now trying to use tropic marine triple buffer to salvage the condition. everything in the tank looks okie . guess i have been too complacent . both test kit from tropic marine
  11. certainly i didnt bought mine at 2 dollars .
  12. oh that is very useful and interesting . how much is the total cost ? is there anyway to reduce the bubble at the outflow? it can be quite noisy right ?
  13. i think it is okie lah . just dun play ur piano right after u change water ya .. =)
  14. dun worry . ask iantoh. he is expert in this kind of coral

  16. haha..told u already . the LPS can burst into a very huge balloon despite the skeleton size. even the gonio we bought together then will be super huge with time.
  17. this is the interesting part of LPS . i have this piece of hammer for around 6 months and they have grow from 11 to 16 heads. mine is a branching hammer type coral. one of the head will sub divide into 2 smaller head and the 2 smaller head will grow from there . heard that once your ca, alkalinity , phosphate level is in check, naturally they will thrieve. as for mi in my case , it took around 6 months.
  18. my coral never has a bleeching problem and colouration of my coral is like constant from the first day i bought it even though i face it everyday . actually the iodine is given to mi by bro thc FOC . heh heh
  19. er , my hammer grow from 11 head to 16 heads.. i seriously dun know that , only know that it raise alkalinity
  20. gurgle hey guys , chance upon this product ... what do u thin of this product , is it useful to our marine hobby ??
  21. yucks ! i always use chopstick to pick up the worm last time. heard they sting , dun leave in the sump
