  1. some pic to show what lack of space can do to ric the green one and the orange one is pushing against each other
  2. didnt see this post ... would have call u instead.. anyway i did something more for my tank. in my attempt to keep and propagate ric , i realise i have place them too clsely together which result in upward stretching behaviour despite under 150watt MH . some ric were under the shadow of the other ric and growth were slowed. adding 2 x T5 in the front allow the coverage of the lighting to be better but still the upward stretching behaviour show. i believe they are telling mi they need more space. have already spread them further just now. while doing that , i saw a good natural split of ric florida in my tank . now my tank seem fuller . after the rescape i decided to try one more cynarina.
  3. i am using mainly the water from my tank for propagation. after propagating, they will be in my betta box in my main tank .
  4. ya that place is somehow amazingly attracting . somehow .... it is always a pleasure to look at healthy coral fully bloom in display tank condition . somehow that is one of the main reason we are so readily to part with the cash too .
  5. u stays in the States ? i was thinking how to cool the temperature of a nanocube since our climate is hot all year round .
  6. haha fishtalk, whenever i went to golden octopus , i always feel like getting all his gems and put in my tank. somemore everyday i need to bypass MEL 'SERANGOON STATION" argh ......the temptation is always there
  7. quite easy one lah . easier to handle than a anemone and the healing rate is faster . Fragging is easy but over fragging the coral might stress the ric and might evn cause it's death. in theory, all the ric need is a single separate cell. the new mouth will grow out and be a frag on it's own =) blueheaven once document on how to frag his blue mushies, quite similar and easy once u have the correct tool =)
  8. still deciding whether i should frag . keke. maybe treat u dinner lah . cheaper for mi hehe. one of my main reasons to add on 2 T5 is for my ric as i realise that some of my ric cannot receive as much light as those opening up real well.
  9. that is one of my headache too . i have place them to near to each other . was thinking of chipping off and replace them again . u wanna help mi hehe
  10. so i guess u decide to come down from the mountain again hehe =) arrange the timing again
  11. hehe. i bought from AquaMarine lah. just happen that all my testkit are used up and i replenish it at the same time lor. pain one time . i change my testkit from tropic marine to salifert as i feel that their colour changes are more obvious than tropic marin in term of calcium and magnesium . same result produce from both testkit with about 5 % deviation. so i reckon that both brand are good.
  12. yup ... i hope this is a good start. in fact the position is still the same , but i change the wavemaker position to blow it from the front to the back instead.
  13. hehe. bloated stomach after eating , but they never seem to grow thicker leh . only look big on the stomach.
  14. hee hee . my green prata sort of like open up after i change the position of my wavemaker but an expensive lesson learnt. i cause the death of my cynarina due to the strong wave ...
  15. ya .. i told myself i will never buy an anemone anymore after my tank crash in my hall then due to the anemone. but was tempted again when i saw the cute RBTA . they simply look like bright coloured ric
  16. my flame and fire had fat belly but still long long thin thin
  17. when did i buy 2nd hand testkit?
  18. the helfrichi is wonderful . beautiful and loving pair
