i am using Life distill water as it register 1ppm from my TDS meter . I do not know about NTUC's , but do watch out for the difference between mineral water and distilled.

Artica =) i know many who switch from resun to artica. cost effective in term of electrical consumption. it is quiet and accurate. The thermostat reading is always inline with my pinpoint thermometer, sometime, 0.1 dc difference.
