Some reefer told me they are leaving simply the maintainence is too high, some told me i want expensive equipment, keep for 6 months and dun want to pay money. *no money, get out of the hobby, this is a want not a need.

normally i do not flame people openly but i think this guy should be make known to all openly. I have a very bad incident with him and i would like to share with the rest. There is once i decided to sell 5 colonies of my SPS for 100 dollars to him and we agree to pay at the end of the month. I even delivered to him to his void deck. when the end of the month come, he just ignore my call and sms. and when he finally reply, he would just give some excuses that he has no money and told me he will pay on the following week. when the due date come, he is still evading all form of communication, ie msn, hp, sms, call.Bearing in mind, I have sms him my account number a number of times repeatedly. i sent some sms to him and waited for a few days. but he choose to ignore my sms. so i decide to give him a final sms saying, ' i think i have given u enough time to make your payment and if you are still avoiding me and not picking up the call, i will make a report and consider a cheating case.'' if he would have pick up the phone and talk to me nicely, i would have gladly extended the date. afterall 100 dollars is not a great deal. just that i do not like his attitude of avoiding. GUESS WHAT IS HIS REPLY after a few hours!!!!!! his reply is ' if i find my money inside your account, i will call the POLICE to say you are disturbing me.'' i checked and 100 dollars was banked into my account so i sms him back'' i will wait for him to file his report''. i waited and waited, his police report never come. TALK BIG only. *All in all, the 100 dollars was delayed for about 1 month from the date of agreement. *His is constantly avoiding all form of communication. * Always some stupid excuses. * no money yet always find him buying something after a few weeks, he pm mi to apologise but i have decided to IGNORE him completely. I am surprised that he is still not ashamed and still pm sometime to ask me to sell him things i posted in pasam malam forum. Guess what, i would be a fool to even reply him.

Confirm buyers will come on this sat noon to collect the fishes. I will feed all the fishes at 12 noon sharp for reefer to witness and then will be caught and left in red pail if u are late. As it is tedious to take out the LR and catch them, i will appreciate no pilot as i do not want to put them back again. normally i am very gentleman however recent sales of my stuff led me to meet reefers who do not honour their word, set date and do not come to view the equipment. more info on ur lighting and ur water parameter in calcium, magnesium and alkalinity will allow ask to advice u in a better position. ur tank wavemaker and tank size also play important aspect as well. how about a full tank pic ? basically u no need to feed the coral u stated u wanna to keep if ur light is adequate. however, prata and brain benefit from occasional feeding of prawn meat. 30ppm of nitrate is acceptable but will be good if u can lower to at least 10ppm. at 30ppm of nitrate, it is not advisable to keep clams. keep ur temp at about 27 degree will be good enough too.

if the MC 500 can fit ur sump, that is a good choice too =)

The MCE 600 is one of the best equipment i have after trying out so many. from weipro to prizm to biostar flotor to deltec, the MCE 600 give mi the best performance and i can control my nutrient at greater ease. to add on, i think the MCE 300 should be good for ur tank size and it is quite affordable. footprint is small and very easy to use ... just that u have to be hardworking in clearing the cup. i believe there are many happy MCE 600 users down here. the initial period where u adjust the height of the collection cup might be a pain in the ###### as u might find it overflow to the overflowing pipe, but this is not a prob after u know roughly what height to set for ur tank. after the intial period, basically it is really plug and forget. i clean it overall with ezyclean once a year. that is it =) for mi i rank 1) efficiency 2) quiet 3) ease of use 4) maintainence to be the factors as i search for my nano skimmer. good luck in ur search

i think most of us would only consider decom either due to money and time. i feel that this hobby can really take up a lot time such that we might accidentaly neglect our family, but if we can manage our time and know our piority well... we can enjoy this wonderful hobby until maybe the M factor is an issue well, i do know a reefer who decom due to health reasons. something like back strain or something like that.
