u will know by ur parameter... if u have problem controlling nitrate, or worse nitrite/ammonia, then u are overstocked like the majority of us =) i think for me, 1 big queen in the 422 tank is already overstock =) cheers tell us a bit more on the equipment

look unique, however i am unwilling( no dough la) to pay 6 times the price for this fish. will rather spend on queen, king blackie tang etc ... however let's say i am very super rich, i will get those unique special one to make the tank more outstanding with the special maculosus

OMG digiman... i am a killer/murderer for most of them... dare not even think back....

i dun ... i nvr test for nitrate... nvr need to clean my tank glass for algae... anyway seldom switch on light for my fowlr ... at the most 2-3 hours per day.but my ammonia and nitrite stay zero... nitrate i nvr measure... will be great if someone come over to help me measure =) change water at 5% each time per week. biohome .... 8/10 at least for the aerobic bacteria i can testify... anaerobic... wait till i measure.

i have a mixture of about 15kg of biohome plus and biohome plus ultra in my sump for my 422. would say that it definately make my tank very very stable after a extended period of time after the bacteria are cultivated. Go for it, however, it would take time to cultivate those bac to reduce nitrate

DO NOT add seachem prime with cupramine. it will reduce copper 2+ to copper 1+ which is 10x more toxic. for fowlr, cupramine is one of the best way to go to control ich for fowlr hypo have their advantage... but i find dosing copper easier .. but required good testkit. i check my copper level with API and salifert... both give relative same results

i have tried it on henry's tank... even 2 set is unable to light up a fowlr's requirement properly. it is too dim for viewing pleasure. at the most, good enough for fuge... that's abt it

not necessary .... as sugegsted by bro Solo, i would think that circulation and make sure your water have enough oxygenated is important for the growth of aerobic bacteria... however, there is no harm in running them. in fact, it is good to run phosphate remover right from the start =) invert, coral are usually unable to tolerate medication like copper... unable to quarantined them with med... however u can isolated them and observed to prevent spreading of parasite should there be any? invert like shrimps may carry hitchhiker like ich parasite however they are unaffected by it... so it will be best if u leave it one site for a while to let the ich die off without host to ensure that ur tank have absolute no parasite

good size for FOWLR... slowly collect the angels u like and the sohal will be the headache of the tank with time from personal experience =) feed a variety of food water change to maintain water quality as we tend to overfeed, feed a lot or even overstock. Do u QT? if not, really standby a bottle of cupramine... it will come in handy with time ... in the meanwhile, read up more... the only stupid thing i always face in FOWLR is ich =)
