hello reefer , i realise there are a lot of sea horse lover in the forum just that it is a very difficult animal to sustain. sea horse lover , care to post some of the most beautiful sea horse u have , stating the period u have and what u feed them ??

i would advice u to be patience in this wonderful hobby ... if ur tank is fully cycle , there will not be a fluactuation of nitrite or even ammonia... in the meanwhile , stop all stocking , get a nitrite tester , only when it reach 0ppm, then u start stocking up slowly ... sponge feed on iodine ?? from what i know , they feed on phyto and iodine is a element that will help to 'colour ' them up .... tank cycling is different from tank to tank , so make sure ur ammonia and nitrite is zero first ...

the cob web thing u mention seem to be die off ... not to worry as u will some during cycling .... just siphon out the web ... as for mi i dun 'clean it ' as i dun see the point ... just siphon out the debris and web u deem fit ...
