  3. hello reefers , i wonder whether u all have the problems of persistant cyano in FUGE and not in main tank as u need to on the light 24/7 ?? however in the last two days the problem was suddenly gone after i add in another rock of microalgae. it disappear slowly and finally after 2 days it is gone . Can i ask whether FUGE will control PO4 naturally too . please advice . thanks in advance.
  4. hello reefer , finally gotton the crab out when it is resting on one of my live rock haha.... now in my tupperware , i was wondering whether can i put it in the sump and let it clear the debris in my FUGE. does crab has this ability ?? thanks
  5. someone did advice mi to dip those liverock in old saltwater and scrape it off using a toothbrush hee. i dun think to scrub it off using freshwater is gd as some of the bacteria for bio filtration will die then sometime it might keep off a ammonia spike . i will advice not to try that lah . unless ur tank is quite big and u are like taking a small percentage of ur rock to scrub. apparently some cleaing crews (eg , snail and hermit crab) does eat cyano if i am not wrong .
  6. ya , thanks for sharing ... really muz appreciate the simplicity and be content with what we have . not focusing on what we dun have sometimes ...
  7. dunno how u can scrape it off ... but IMO u can siphon out the top level of the sandbed , wash it , then put it back lor . if u wanna get immediate reason , u can get cyano- removal medication found in most LFS . however i did not use that product b4 , cant comment much too . wait for senior reefer. dunno why my snail seem to eat up the cyano ya haha no more of such nonsense liao .
  8. maybe u can take note of ur PO4 and NO3 level too . high concentration will cause cyano too . increase flowrate .
  9. wa . like a dinosaur in the tank man. nice!

  14. i used to use saltwater . the prob with that is the water very heavy to bring home ar . and there's once after changing water , my fishes all kanna ich. from then on , i switched to marine environment . though a bit expensive as compare to saltwater. but find it more convenient and beneficial to my fishes. except kalk , i dun dose other addictive and my tank are doing great .
  15. i not not too sure too . the box just write cool white . pl 11w. hope i got the correct thing .
