filtration : eheim classic 2215 external , one hang on china brand 300l/hrs ( upgrading to liberty 100 or 150 soon ) skimmer : sander piccole skimmer ( air stone type) bo bian , smallest i can fit in tried prizm , but too huge. lighting : 2 x 11 watts ( used to use it for my FUGE) now become main lighting.

finally gotton all my equipment for this small nano . i know it's like kinda small and well , i just wanna keep 2 common clown fish and stop at there . all equipment all from Buy/sell section . thanks to SRC live rock from sunny . thanks man intention is to start a starfish tank for gf and gotton fed up searching for beautiful star. and she take a liking in clownfish aka nemo . ' Nemo is so cute ...' haiz , i got her hint .

in fact i am impressed by the DIY skill . however i agree with some here stating that a glass or acrylicmake tank is more presentable . however , the DIY is commendable and impressive

i will recommand u get a prizm skimmer and eheim external skimmer . the best is still a sump . just my 2 cent .

if u really dun wanna live rock in ur system , the bacteria will have no place to thrieve. maybe get a hang on filter with greater volume and place some biohome inside the hang on if u die die dun want live rock . however i still encourage u to have some live rock in the system so that ur aquarium will be more stable

IMO if u are just rearing one cleaner and 2 clown , even there is no light is okie . however i think u might need a hangon filter with bigger flowrate . i have a hangon rainbow with flowrate rated 600l/hr , if u need it , i can give it to u free . no more using as switching to more reliable brand like eheim.

generally i dun see a problem with that . maybe inconsistant pH value ? i use to do that when i need to mix my left over with my newly bought salt of different brand .

sometime the bubbles attached to the hydrometer might give inaccurate reading . get a refractometer as suggested . although it might be exorbitant as compare to the hydrometer.

i think brown show that they are healthy because of the zooxantella... white mean they are bleached or something like that . i think ur anemone is getting more healthy man . that is why it is turning brown . maybe a pic
