  1. this is one of the most wonderful chiller i guess. as my tank is in my room... noise is important to mi. this is quiet compare to resun CL@*) and the thermostat is accurate against my pinpoint thermometer. what can i say ... thanks dave for helping mi to install the chiller this afternoon and have a nice chat. arctica is able to cool my tank vol fast and the accurate thermostat
  2. my second upgrade is from SEIO M1100 to tunze stream 6060 and the suregrip work wonder. initially i was skeptical about the algaefree suregrip as the packaging look cheapo but the small footprint is a plus and can hold the tunze in place without any problem

  5. guess u post in the wrong section... i believe u can get the prizm at the cheapest at petmart. call them for prices. spaceman, ur tank is as good as before. guess the limewood that i gave u is obsolete now . heh heh
  6. i have a flame angel in my tank. generally, it used to like meaty food like brain, cynarina,prata ,blasto, clams that kind. recently tamn down a lot. they are not reef safe and even though they do not nip now does not mean they will not in the future too. general guideline is to feed them sufficient so that they have less chance to try the coral. a safer angel to add into a reef tank is most probably the argi angel.
  7. a variety of food will be great to fatten the tang. just to share my experience, the easiest way to fatten up a tang is to feed them with pellets. for a period of time, i just feed them brine and mysis but my tang could not grow fat until i feed them constantly with pellets. this is my own experience to share.

  9. bro , i dun think eheim pump is pressure rated . i think that eheim pump generally have higher head than aquabee with the comparable flow rate

  12. generally a reef tank probably take 45min to 1 hour. FOWLR 20-30min ... for mi i will at least spend 15-20 min in front of my tank just looking just a guide ... it really depend on what u do. for instance, tank leak, probably will take 1 day.

  19. fishtalk, for my experience, rowacarbon and chemipure is the best. get twice the reccomended amount.
