  4. theres no hard and fast rule whether u can dose together anot, but i usually dose mb7 first and dose biofuel probably 5 mins later. This is a on-going routine for me for quite a while. I personally have a liking for brightwell products as they give specific instructions on dosage in both high and low nutirent environment, but i'll still dose only 75% of the recommended dosage weekly. In any situation that notice i have a spike in nutrients due to overfeeding, i will just increase the dosing frequency to maybe twice a week but still sticking to the same dosage. Thats for my old 2ft set up. I am still closely monitoring how this combi works for my new 3ft set up and I have been feeding like crazy since i added 4 blue eye anthias. Have been getting undetectable readings on no3 and po4 still so far.. Just adding on to that, I still have quite alot filtration media, biospheres, rowaphos and activated carbon in my system which i believe plays a part in keeping my nutrients low.
  5. As mentioned. Looking for a colony or frag. Anyone? Thank you!
  6. I always find tower scaping very nice, espcially 3 ways view and u can have the minimalist feel. Probably add another 1 or 2 small island at the corners to give it abit more "life" Will you face an issue of wm placement since you are making it 3 ways?
  7. U can try out brightwell biofuel if you are looking for a reliable reefing brand with precise instructions on dosing to be safe. I have been using it in combination with brightwell mb7 for the past 6 months and it works well enough for me to maintain my no3 at 5 to 10ppm. I also throw in a bag of biospheres to help out.
  8. Nice rock tower scape! Going 3 way view for your tank or just 2 way?
  9. Reserved, pending collection.. Thank you all
  10. As mentioned. 4 for $70 1 for $18 Collection: Havelock Road Thank you!
  11. My idea of a realistic reef tank is with sand, i feel that it looks unreal without sand but thats probably just me.. But i know many reefers who go without sand due to detritus build up and nutrients spike, thats up to individual reefing style i guess.. Good flow and a strong team of clean up crew will do the job just right, imo... So far so good for me with a sandbed
  12. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  14. And so... finally fixed up my lights and chiller and teared apart my current reef tank to relocate the corals to my new tank The light intensity of the ATI Sunpower dimmable is amazing for me, first time T5 user.. Visually, it has matched my current light set with only 40% running power, 4x blue+ & 4x coral+, will swop out 2 coral+ for another blue+ & actinic.. teared apart almost 50% of my current reef to relocate the corals.... heart breaking... temporary holding sites Found two beauties, changed totally from the day i got them No idea what zoas, but i like the coloration and patterns it has Red planet, pinkish red with green base Hopefully i can complete the entire relocation by this weekend!!! Happy reefing guys
  15. Thanks bro~! Waiting for your upgrade too!
  16. Hey bro, even if it's commercial distilled water it will still have traces of tds but tds below 10 is acceptable. I have been using life distilled water from NTUC and it has 4 to 5 tds. Now switched to polar distilled water, around 3 to 6, bigger range. But I think below 10 is acceptable.
