  1. LOL, what a comprehensive clownfish family tree.. Yes, it does look like picasso now..
  2. There are too many possible reasons to it bro.. parasites, hitch hiker pests, lighting, water conditions, ph shock.. I am also learning slowly lol Probably u can take a clear close up shot of it? Did u dip the zoas before putting it in your dt?
  3. WOW nice! Im no expert in clownfish too but one looks like a true perc and the other looks like snowflake.. but equally beautiful~! Nice blastomussa you got there too, cant see your zoas though, all closed up i assume.. what a big market there in Gaugnzhou too.. how are the prices there? how much for the clownfishies, zoas and blasto?
  4. Bro, stop spreading the sps poison with your devilicious pics!
  5. Hi bro, chalice tough to keep? I am thinking of a chalice for my next purchase and i just got an acan.... zzzz
  6. Check out this website.. the information may not be accurate but their zoas sure look nice~! http://zoanthids.com/
  7. WOW nice~! didnt notice that there are 2 different types of zoas on that frag you took~! if not i would have taken it~! DAMN!! LOL
  8. Hi bro, PMed you. Hows your zoas doing btw?
  9. Then you probably got to wait for a long time bro.. Or are you waiting because you are planning for a new tank soon? LOL Awesome~! Now i know its a gonio, but they are truly a very sensitive species.. I believe they closed up due to the high temperature and lack of nutrients in my tank, opened up slowly after i added the chiller and opened up even more after i dose the polyp lab one.. Thinking of trying out the polyp lab booster after I stock up more corals.. Quite pleased with the polyp lab products till now (I am using the their bio-spheres, reef roids and one), only thing is we have to work out the dosage ourselves carefully because their dosage is always for large aquarium size and not for nano tanks..
  10. Thanks bro! Bro kkk121 still has about 15 heads of the acan, if you are interested though lol, i like the way its colours are blended together and not defined clearly.. Ahhh, so its an alveopora huh.. ok noted.. very glad that its recovering well too..
  11. Hey Bro Mitchell, i use coral rx too, lots of dead and dirty stuff fall out too.. But i will only dip for 10 mins, is it ok for your corals after 15 mins? what kind of corals have you dipped 15 mins? Probably will try 15 mins if we are dipping the same type of corals
  12. Hi bro, welcome to the nano club.. perhaps you might wanna share your plans on what livestock you wanna keep, so that bros here can give you specific advice to your plans.. I also learned alot from this forum, planning is extremely important at the early stage to determine how you use the limited space available for a nano owner.. It can get quite frustrating as you go along and discover the space limitations for essential equipments for the livestock you want to have.. That being said, its gonna be good fun as well haha Just keep reefing~!
  13. Yeap, agree with bro angel keeper. Blue white or full spectrum is better if you only plan to use one..
  14. Hope so too~! All the best bro~! Btw, some bros selling their par38 in pasar malam thread, go check it out, may get a good deal.
  15. Latest piece of coral from bro kkk121, nice oz rainbow acan! Got the chance to see him frag it live for me too lol 2 complete heads and 2 half chopped off heads, but still beautiful to me (please ignore the slime over it haha) Have been dosing Polyp Lab one everyday for the past 1 week, seems to be a good investment for now because my dying gonio (actually im thinking if it is a alveopora, quite confusing..) decided to open up for the last 3 days (like finally) and my blasto is getting puffier, the stalks of my mushrooms getting longer, keeping my fingers & toes crossed.. Just keep reefing~!
  16. 25 - 26 is fine.. poor conditions of corals can be due to a whole lot of reasons, and especially so for small tank owners like us.. Do you test your parameters?
  17. Hi bro, i assume you dont run a chiller? Temperature can be a one of the main cause for it.. esp in our erratic weather conditions.. Do consider a chiller if you are going to add more corals because since you may be changing to a stronger lighting, it may increase your water temperature too.. Corals really dont like it warm.. just sharing my little experience with you
  18. Its a good source of food for your fish.. my firefish n clowns eats them all day
  19. Bro, you can check it out at DE Aquatic. One of the src sponsors.

  21. Yes bro, take it easy. It took me about 3 to 4 wc to clear up the affected sand bed..
