Pacific aka ah beng Red Sea shipment just came in. Lots of small sohal tangs, small - large purple tangs, midas, purple doctor fish/benny and some other fishes which I can't identify. AM still got 5-10 pieces of Yellow tangs, very good size. Lots of Maxima. Some 1 inch blue tangs. 3 Platinum clownfish.

Spotted at Pinnacle. Didn't ask the price though.

Bro, Iwarna has lots of cleaner shrimps. Pinnacle got a few, but very small size.

AM Bio pellet reactor seems pretty good for the price. I am using the China-made one from DE Aquatics, which works as well but you need a very strong pump.

It was about 2-3 days max before it clog. I got mine from AM. I have since change to the 7 inches sock from Madpetz. Your cycling process will be shorter if u use sea water. Iwarna do sea water delivery

Stingrays are hardy .. No worries. Just to add don't use prawns from giant hypermart as they are semi fresh water n sea water . Somehow the fish don't like it.

For the rock scape, put the 2 islands further apart so there's a valley in between. Also, I was using the asme filter socks as you but it's too small, it gets clogged easily

A bit extreme. Not advisable if you got live stock in the tank. The decomposed matter on the rock might affect water quality.

Dun use tapwater. Best order from Polar distilled water, or buy from NTUC the life distilled water, $6.00 for 12 bottles of 1.5 litres.

Use dead rocks is often better , as it has no worms etc. The only thing is that it also does not have beneficial bacteria, but you can always use prodibio bacteria kit or any other brands to increase the growth of beneficial bacteria. Sun dry for a few hours will not totally kill the rocks please. If not all the rocks harvested would have been dead by the time it reach Singapore.

take out your rocks and leave it under the sun or leave dry for a few hours.
