No dont do that lol, its not the debris u worry about. Problem with filter socks is it becomes a nitrate factory if it's not washed/ changed every few days

My flame angel is doing great! Really fat now and i can hand feed it too. Mine has yet to nip but even if it does its fine as sps are able to retract their polyps and the flame angel wont be able to get to it. Flame angles however are able to kill lps corals easily as they tear off the flesh by sucking the mucus on the lps
