May 2014 June 2014 July 2014 Hi everyone, wanted to showcase my tank properly in a thread if it's own. Since starting, it's been quite a rocky ride with multiple fish and coral deaths. Here is my tank now after about 3 months ++ LS: Common clown Orange fire fish Yasha goby Yellow wrasse Tiger pistol shrimp 6 sexy shrimp Blue linkia starfish 3 snails and a whole host of pests Corals Hammer 2 brain corals ( not doing well at all) Deresa clam? Elephant ear Yuma ( keeps moving) Green plate Red mushrooms Zoas- 3 types ( don't seem to be growing, in fact they are disappearing I think) Forest fire digi frag( losing its colour but not dying) orange monti cap frag (seems ok) Favia(brand new)

Oh no. All the possibilities! Maybe a camera with playback function mode could help. ..

It is an extremely elusive shrimp then. Do they eat thumb sized crabs? I have 2 pistols in a separate tank and it is obvious that they are there. they dig and dig and dig. However, this other tank with the clicking noises. Can't tell its there at all. except for the noises. Different type of pistol shrimp maybe?

Hi, Question: Can worms make clicking noises? if so, which worms can make clicking noises? My porcelain crab has mysteriously died. leaving only a claw to be found. I know i have worms in my tank. possibly even a very small bobbit worm. (not sure yet). However, I also have clicking noises coming from the rocks in my tank. close to wear the worm lives. Is it possible that the noises come from the worm and also is the cause of the dead crab? If anyone can help that would be great!

Hi All, I have not found much on the compatibilities of coral. (direct me to a page if there already exists one) I have had a few run ins with corals that should not be placed together. So, I thought I would start a thread for everyone to put up their personal experiences/ knowledge on the subject. I shall start 1st: YUMA x BRAIN CORAL = INCOMPATIBLE YUMA x HAMMER = INCOMPATIBLE ELEGANCE x GONIOPORA = INCOMPATIBLE TUBE ANEMONE X GONIOPORA = INCOMPATIBLE

Any one know the various kinds of parasitic bugs that latch onto fish? Just found one on my purple firefish.

Good New Everyone! All i needed to do is move the plate coral to a location with lower flow. it is eating again and its tentacles are out. turns out..they are super sensitive to current. -
