I have a little side project. Got this cup coral, that was dying, from an LFS. I have had it 1 week and I am happy to say I have some poly extension going on now:) let's see what this becomes!

Hey Tofu box, Thank you for the advice. I think i had some heavy metals t as i had changed freshwater source. However i could not test for them. Water changes has helped rectify that problem, alsoI had tested my parameters to not much conclusion. only magnesium was a tad too low. think its pests............

Nah not aptasia. Anemonies do not have skeletons like corals. These ones have skeletons. Also they are green. Aiptasia is brown to clear. The search for an answer continues haha

The creatures in question are the little circular green things with tentacles and skeleton growing on the rocks. About 2 mm only.

This hobby is full of disappointments. Found a black worm stuck to the face of the tailspot last night. 1 goby missing, gramma full of itch and the blue eye cardinals twitching uncontrollably. .

I have no clue if it eats inverts.however if you Google tube anemone there's quite a bit to read. Were your flame angels small? Less then a an inch? I wouldn't rule out something else if your inverts are disappearing. .

It is a tube anemone. (not a true anemone) its tentacles do pack a punch. If a healthy fish swims into it it will spasm for a few seconds and be ok again. but if your fish are unhealthy, they will not be strong enough to free themselves from the tube anemone tentacles. i have personally seen my tube anemones eat my fish.. but many online sources say they do not do that... also your animal looks really pale.. i don think its healthy..

Yeah sorry will take a better one soon. They have skeletons. Can't be an anemone

Hi all! can anyone ID these little guys growing on my rock? seems to be some sort if coralite as they have a skeleton growing from the rock and, they have tentacles like an anemone. They seems to be multiplying as well.
