  1. After almost a year my little tank is starting to look kinda good!
  2. Hi Davian. There is no average that I know of. For example, my Sunkist frag took 5 months to grow 1 new polyp, on the other hand the Purple Death has grown 5 polyps and Lollipop has grown 12! Growth rate also depends on your tank parameters. so you might find you have a different growth rate altogether.
  3. Hi Hipporider, this is very interesting. please keep us updated!
  4. Hi evolutionz.was wondering how you got your crocea to latch onto the thin rock. I have tried placing my crocea on rocks but it does not seem to latch on and keeps falling off.
  5. I currently have 2 clownfish in there. The hermit crab does clamber over everything. that might be the cause. I shall try a FW dip anyhow. Thanks for your help!
  6. I do have a quite a lot of worms in that tank but I am not sure if they are nipping the clam. Good to know that freshwater does not necessarily kill the clam. Have you tried it on clams that already have PM?
  7. Has anyone tried freshwater dip to cute pinched mantle disease before? Has it worked?
  8. Would anyone be able to tell if my squamie has pinched mantle disease? I hope it doesnt:( Before (left) & Now (right)

  13. I think green means high iron? And the colours purple and pink need high light levels as this colours act as sunscreen.
  14. Oh thanks Hipporider! That's how the 2nd one sleeps. Haha they're such interesting creatures. Full of personality
  15. The tank has got 3 sea fans to cling onto when they wish.
  16. Maybe someone could demystify some seahorse behavior for me. I have 2 kuda seahorses. 1 of them sleeps without a clinging on to anything. It seems like he sleeps stick straight floating and bobbing around in the water. When he wakes up he swims around. He swims around alot. His tail is not damaged. The other seahorse spends most of its time clinging to a rock of zoas in a corner fo the tabk. He is always looking at the ground. Is this kinda weird. Or just their personalities?
  17. Mantis will be a challenge to catch. I have yet to successfully catch the one in my tank and it has grown an inch lol. Brittle stars can be left in your tank. They are good detritivores. As for itch. If it gets worse. Best is to quarantine your fish and let tank lay fallow. For about 10 wks
  18. Thanks for letting me know Steven! Haha don't need to stress out now lol
