Compare the following stats: PL: Dulux L 55W, 4550 lumens for daylight colour T5 HO: FQ54W, 4050 lumens for daylight colour Ignoring the difference of 1 W, statistically speaking, seems like the 55W PL light will throw out more lumens than the T5 HO. Yet everyone in the forum here seems to suggest that T5 is better than PL. Why is that so?

GE Lighting Starcoat T5 specs GE has similar T5 HO lamps too. So does Philips. Not sure if we can actually find it in Singapore though.
