  1. Recently bought this chiller from a bro here but realised that its too big. Letting go at the same price, 400. If you want delivery, I'm able to do so island wide but it will be subject to an additional cost depending on where you're located but delivery is only available for tonight. Self collection can be done in the west. PM for details. Fcfs
  2. If you're open to experimentation, why not thirsty hippo? That stuff is cacl2 anyway. Not sure how safe it is for the aquarium so if you do try, take it with a pinch of salt and its at your own risk.

  4. I've been keeping 2 Sheng siong abalone for around 2 weeks+ in my tank already. It eats sushi seaweed readily. It doesn't move around though. Just hides in a corner and stays there.

    WTT Rotifers

Hey guys, I've got spare live rotifers for trade. PM me to offer anything you want to trade with. I'm looking for, but not limited to, the following items: - Grape caulerpa - Ocean Nutrition Formula 1/2, TDO pellets, NLS pellets - Soft corals - Reef Nutrition Arctipods If you've got other items you wanna trade for, just PM. As for the items for trade, i'm not looking for a whole bottle. Just trading for the appropriate quantity you can offer. Thanks! Location: West
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong, but red light does not penetrate deep into the ocean. Its the first colour to be lost. The creatures from the deep which are accustomed to darkness too. The red light Is less able to be perceived by them because they are not adapted to do so. So I think its so people can see the creatures but they won't be disturbed that much.
  9. I just checked the eggs I collected from last night :/ no signs of any hatch. All the eggs seem to have settled to the bottom of the coffee filter I was floating in the tank. The eggs are all white now. Anyone has any idea why I just can't get them to hatch? Thanks
  10. Hmm do orange black dragonets ever appear in the shipments? I'm looking for a pair. Thanks!
  11. Hmm I just put them in a small isolation box, fatten them up with copepods before starting them on frozen mysis. After they have taken to frozen mysis, i'll flood the box with fresh pellets daily and remove whatever that is uneaten at the end of the day
  12. I managed to get a clip of a scooter mandarin eating a pellet (: The green mandarins spawn very frequently but I can't seem to get the eggs to hatch haha Thanks! That's great to know (:
  13. I added the spotted mandarins after the green mandarins (: the spotted mandarins don't bother the scooter mandarins either
  14. Hi everyone, I've been trying to keep as many dragonets of different varieties in a single tank recently. I know that this may sound foolish but I've made sure that they have been trained separately to eat pellets before releasing them into the display tank. I'm using formula 1 and formula 2 pellets btw. Currently I've got a pair of green mandarins, a pair of scooter mandarins and a pair of spotted mandarins. All are feeding on pellets but I've only managed to capture on camera, the green mandarins and scooter mandarins in action. Hopefully others here are willing to share their experience with keeping these really attractive fish too (: (I've yet to see a pellet eating red ruby dragonet but that's next on my list) I apologise in advance for the poor video quality. http://youtu.be/y-FEF-C8T54 http://youtu.be/bx_1k8JEsoM
  15. Red dragonets? haha red ruby dragonets or red scooter dragonet? or red mandarin dragonet?
  16. I used it for my planted tanks before. Very very troublesome. Using salt water will last longer because dissolved salts lower the melting point of the solution.
  17. WTB Stomatella snails Looking for a few stomatella snails. If you prefer, I have a mix of live rotifers and copepods to trade for too. PM to deal (: thanks
  18. Par 38 LEDs typically use E27 bases.
