  5. I see that a lot of reefers are fragging zoos. As much as I welcome the opportunity for reefers like me to gain access to rare and beautiful zoos, I wish to highlight the potential dangers of fragging zoos and urge the reefers to take necessary precautions. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/blog/how-not-to-frag-zoanthids http://reefculture.co.uk/avada_portfolio/how-to-frag-zoas/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  10. My experience with Hong Kong folks is that a lot of them do keep fishes, fresh water or marine, almost every home has a fish tank despite their small apartment unit. Another reason I was told (I did not verify this) is that the Hong Kong apartment units are designed with 2 sets of water pipes: fresh water for consumption, and salt water for sewage purposes. So it's like they can have a tap for nsw in their house, which makes keeping marine easy. They seems to like big fishes, and the big angels are one of their favorites. 13. I went to aquarist chamber to check out the chiller. Unfortunately it is rated for 30 litres. It is about the size of an Apple airport express. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Looking for small fire shrimps. Preferably at the east side. Anyone saw any? Btw, I saw some very cute orchid dotty backs at aquarist chamber. Very tempted, but wanted to stock corals first. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I have seen some of the reefers and their setup. I realized a couple of changes. The reefers I met are a lot younger. Some I was very surprised at their age. For me, I only started at about late twenties. Plus tank setup are shallower now. During my time, it was "fashionable" for deep tanks. Partly due to dsb or plenum. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. I used to autopsy my discus when they die to find out the cause. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Did you check for parasites. Examine the dead clown for wounds.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Last time I did salt mix but took very long as pail by pail... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Unfortunately my tank is just a normal tank, no ios. Initially wanted to go planted first. My nano normally just over skimming and no external filtration. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. How to get so much nsw? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Wondering how you guys get all the salt water for the initial setup of big tanks? Salt mix or nsw? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Perhaps get a trap? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. On and off will see the nautilus. But I recall they are deep sea creatures, so not sure how we can keep them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
