Don't throw away just yet. The parts can be recycled as spare. Just buy a new pump if its replaceable. But buy correct voltage please.

By saying you used international adapter for it, are you referring to only the different plug or a step up transformer from 110-220v?

Am using 130 and the wire looks much thinner. Does not have the cracking issue, yet. fingers crossed. Noticed that the label on the magnet at the dry side is different too.
Edited. Saw the label as 150.
Depending on the chiller brand, they may not have ports for topping up. May need to "open" a hole manually. Is the compressor starting? Could also be the starter fail to start the compressor.

I have. But no certification. Jokes aside, unable to net it as it's always hiding among the rocks. I bought it from coral farm.

Most probably will be air intake. Once accumulated in the pump, will be expelled. The cycle goes on until all the air trapped is expelled. Or if there are leaks, it will keep on sucking in air and accumulate.

Yes. Absence of lights and flow. With proper light and flow, it bundles together without "fraying". The tiny bits may get stuck in your pump.

I used to have a 2ft with iOS. Tank width will be very much limited. Only can place small air stone skimmer. In the end when for normal tank plus sump.

Look for signs of nibbling. Some fish likes to nib on these. I removed my damsels when they keep on nibbling on my Xenias, zoas and polyps.
