How bout instead of covering your tank. Do a cabinet door around your light and top of tank. Firstly it looks nicer. Secondly any fish that trys to jump. Chances that it will land back in the tank is much higher

Normally i acclimatise my for 2hrs for inverts. Try next time 1hr to double water level. Then pour away half den another 1 hr to double water level. Should be better

Goniopora and its close cousin alvepora does require slightly better husbandry compared to other lps. I will say its a hit n miss but once stable, they do very well. I believe your selection of coral is more critical as you should not choose a coral which shows its 'skeleton'. From its transporting and acclimatising stress, it will not be able to survive unless you are a really experienced reefer, even so, the probabilities are stacked against you. You may wanna find other lfs who are more honest and tell you about the problem den this lfs who taking advantage of your inexperience to choose a healthy coral

Nope. Not completed. Becoz it cant fit into the lift. So everything have to be done in the house including the silicon. You are right. There is gonna be eurobracing, i was hoping to do rimless but it is too dangerous. So finally will be eurobracing all around with probably 2 centre bracing. I cant think of anyway to skip the centre bracing and worry it will affect the light spectrum. No choice Safety or beauty, safety is first concern
