Hi, I just spotted a mantis shrimp hitchhiker (slightly longer than 1 inch) in my tank, what sort of potential damage can they do and is it absolutely important to catch it out? One of my hermit crabs and a pistol shrimp has gone missing, but not sure if it has to do with the mantis shrimp... Am planing to set a trap soon. Any good bait or trap design that you recommend? To take these pictures I just use a very old Canon 500D and a borrowed 100mm macro... Thinking of upgrading to full frame for better image quality but maybe not so soon. Actually the 1.6x crop factor has advantages for macro cos of the extra magnification Sure, you can pm me and maybe we can discuss more! I am also still quite new to aquarium photography, we can learn from each other (: Ya the last one really looks like Armageddon, I went to check a few websites online, thanks!
