Need advice from fellow reefer that uses canister filter regarding type of media used within the filter and whether is it possible to connect the output of the filter to a chiller. Need to find out whether this method works, tank to canister filter to chiller to tank. Thanks in advance.

Hi, fellow reefer 35Cents Well, I made a mistake but not taking a photo shot prior to their release into the tank. I had a hard time trying to get a clear shot at them. Just did a status check and still failed to locate the smallest Griess. Btw, decided to stick with 3 Griess, will be getting 3 Yashia instead but this fish also seem rare in this hobby.

Hi to all reefer, I currently have 3 Griessingeri and I had intention to get 2 more. Any advice whether 5 Gressingeri is too much for a 2 x 1 x 1? This fish is just so beautiful athought at times I don't get to see them for days.

Good day to all reefers, Would greatly appreicate all advice and guidance given regarding the ligting requirement of a 2 ft tank intended for LPS. Currently using 15w 10000k FL and an actinic 420nm FL, have intention to switch to T5. Would like to know whether this will benefit the LPS and if yes, what type of combination and wattage should I get. Have seem the market having different wattage and Kelvin temperature. I read somewhere that you could dip your LR into salt water with salinty of 1.040 for a minutes to two, which will force all pests within the live rock to scramble out of the rock, then you could take your leisure to select those critters that you want or pour aways those you don't want. I have tried it on a LR and manged to get rid of a brittle worm, two crabs and a brittle star. One point to note, all your alage on the LR will turn white (die off) if you dip in the water for too long.

Just got myseif a Griessingeri Goby from Henry recently, was surprise when i saw the Goby cause it was about 3 cm in length. Was worried that it might not survive in my tank but Henry assure me that the Goby will do fine as long as there is enough live rock as shelter and food source. True enough, the Griessingeri Goby was seem happily moving from one LR to another hunting for copepods.

Yup, anemone like to move about to find a suitable place, usually when the anemone keep moving about, it a bad sign. It means that the water parameters is not ideal for them. marine Dreamer.
