  1. Thanks guys! its from aquarist chamber... $20
  2. Pods are good bro. But they will get depleted quite fast once you start adding more fish, especially in a nano.
  3. Great article of cuc... Should be stickied as a guide somewhere
  4. Was this the same ones from ML that I saw couple weeks ago? Such a pity... beautiful fish... And your sps collection is very nice...
  5. When I first started the tank, I wanted to create a zoa garden but I ended up getting poisoned by my sps friends. But here's my humble collection of zoas, which are quite useful for filling up the gaps. I can't remember most of their names though... ??? (unknown purple zoas) Eagle eyes I think Stardust zoas from a good friend ??? Rastas and ??? unknown blue ones X-men? Purple orchids... one of my first zoas
  6. Wow... Where have u been hiding this lovely tank? Post more!!
  7. Found a perfectly sized gravel cleaner for nano tanks. Easy to prime with the little pump. Thoughtfully included are a clip to regulate flow and a clip to attach the end to a pail.
  8. Interesting cardinal behaviour... Are they immune to the elegance's sting?
  9. Bro... time to start your tank thread... then we can help u decide... lol...
  10. Yes, it looks exactly like yours. Maybe we got it from the same reefer
  11. Sps update: Got this yellow birdsnest 3 months ago... What its grown into...
  12. I hope he does... something not as aggressive as a six line and smaller than some other wrasses... took me awhile to find him
  13. My pink-streaked wrasse is out and about... not as flashy as some other wrasses but its beautiful in its own right...
  14. Beautiful photos bro! And you have a nice collection of gobies
  15. Same experience with the yellow bn with purple polyps bro... I'll take some pics. But yes, it does colour up nicely to look like that
  16. Nice scape bro... time to cover it up with corals...
  17. Reef roids are better for gonios and zoas... These pellets are for bigger lps... I usually mix with saltwater in a little cup, so that it sinks and then use this mini turkey baster that I bought from AM to target feed the corals This is it... Skimz coral feeder... http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/skimz-coral-feeder-2-pack.html Its useful for blasting the detritus off yr live rocks too
  18. Since we are on the topic of food, I thought I would just share a quick review of this lps food I picked up on a whim a few weeks ago. It's comes in sinking granules which is a lot less messy than feeding fresh food. I've so far tried it on acans, brains, blastos, candy canes, plates, sun corals, elegance and flower anemone with very good feeding response. Maybe it's too early to tell but colours seem a bit better. Will give it a few more months to make a definite conclusion.
  19. Thanks for your kind comments bro... blush... i think my tank is catching up in terms of cost... lol yes I've bought from Cedric before... quality sps... his fish room is wow... I've tried a goniopora before... died despite everything I tried. Will probably not buy another one. If its happy where it is now, then leave it be. You might want to consider target feeding it. Don't dose calcium unless you know your levels. Get a salifert calcium test kit.. and kh too. If you're shooting with a hp, turn off the blue lights if u can... might appear very yellow but will look ok on yr phone.
  20. nice zoas from Cedric... quality stuff... Is the green jewel a goniopora?
