  1. So that's what a female naoko looks like... [emoji106]
  2. Thanks! Where have you been bro? So quiet lately
  3. Yes. My kh has been dropping quite fast. Regular small doses helps to keep things stable.
  4. Got tired of manually dosing every day to keep up with the demands of the corals, so I bought a jebao dosing pump with the skimz container. Setting up was quite straightforward. Hopefully it will help keep my alkalinity more stable.
  5. Yes, thats the challenge of managing a small volume of water... Sounds like you really need a chiller. Have u upgraded your skimmer? Do some big water changes for now. Consider adding chemical media like rowaphos. Maybe carbon dosing with biospheres if your skimmer is up to it. I've been battling cyano on the sandbed recently... slowly winning the fight by regular siphoning... FTS will come soon
  6. Wow. That looks nice. Is it a symphyllia?
  7. Very nice collection of lps bro! And thanks for the DIY food guide... might try one day
  8. Nice photos bro. Beautiful tank with lots of nice frags
  9. That's a nice fat colony of candy canes [emoji106]. What's that green sps in the 4th pic?
  10. Lovely pair of clowns. Good buy!
  11. Anthias are nice, but they need space. You sound like you're gonna get a bigger tank soon. Lol
  12. Fishy update... One of my royal grammas... the oldest inhabitant in my tank My clownfish has finally decided to host something... the Duncans... this guy is quite eccentric Finally decided that my green banded goby is ready for the DT, its been residing in a satellite box for the last 2 months... think its doubled in size... Good luck little guy!
  13. Good to see your back bro! Don't give up! New scape looks good
  14. Nox, I share your pain bro. Lost 3 torches so far to bjd. Even tried saving them by dipping and fragging off affected heads. Everything else including hammers ok. Can't seem to keep torches alive and they are supposed to be quite easy
  15. You can mail order livestock in China? Very cool. You might want to consider a smaller and less aggressive clownfish like the ocellaris or true perc. There are some designer clownfish which are quite nice. Also consider a piston shrimp to pair with yr hifin goby... The behaviour is quite interesting
  16. Don't give up bro! Hope to see you make a comeback soon
  17. Thanks for sharing bro.. They look very fat and healthy
  18. Saturday shopping success... Aussie lobo!!!
  19. Nice tank bro... welcome to the club! Just my 2 cents on your livestock... the blue tang might get a bit big for your tank. And the bicolor dottyback might fight with the orchid dottyback. Might want to consider a royal gramma instead, more peaceful. Harlequin shrimp are nice but require a special diet of starfish.
  20. 3 days is still early. As long as it's active and not being bullied, it should be ok. Good luck with yr coral beauty!
  21. It's been in the tank 3 weeks now. Didn't touch any pellets or frozen food at first. Just kept pecking at live rock. But it was quite fat and active, plus it poo-ed a lot. Past few days it started eating new life spectrum thera A pellets, so that's good. Bad news is that I found my pink streaked wrasse dead this morning. RIP...
