Hi guys , some Im keeping a few LPS corals and Im probably gonna start dosing Cal , Alk and Magnesium very soon . I see that the popular choices of these supplements are Calcium chloride , magnesium chloride and so on .. So my question is , after the corals absorb in the calcium / magnesium ions , where does the chlorine ions go to ?

I recently got a goniopora stokesi by mistake and I wish to swap it back with the aunty at the pasir ris lfs ( Infront of ah beng's aquarium ) . Other forums strongly advice me to swap it for a easier coral like bubble coral or duncan coral , however they are mostly foreigners and are not Singaporeans . Im not sure if Singapore's LFS would accept trade backs . Anyone did swap a coral back to the Aunties / Uncles in that store?

Hi all , My lights on my rsm 130 went kaput a few days ago and Im desperate to find a replacement for them . As the tank was given to me by someone else , I do not know where they sell spare replacement equipments , however I hear that Qian Hu has them . I've been trying to contact Qian Hu for quite some time now but my email seem to never ever reach them . Anyways , does anyone here know where I would definitely get find them at ? The bulbs are 2 55watt T5 power compact florescent . They are a little unique as in theres actually 4 tube but are connected together . Is there another lighting option for the RSM130 ? Like for example metal hailides or LEDs ? My budget is arnd $200 sgd so i cant go for the fanciful ones like Radions , maxspec or Al vegas . Is there any LFS that holds bulk reef supply reef chilli or DT products ? I haven't been able to find them on fresh'n'marine / madpetz online e-store .

Hi I just got a FR-30 multi media reactor ( Most probably a Chinese brand as there are chinese words for the descriptions ) . Its pretty big and can hold 1L of medias . However , my tank is only a 35 gallon RSM 130 and im pretty sure its an over kill . So my questions are , can I put in a little GFO thats recommended for my tank in that large reactor without causing any problems (maybe too much tumbling) ? Can I run gfo and bio pellets in the same reactor ? Also , can i connect the reactor to my Eheim 1000 compact , which is , connected to my hailea 150A chiller ? Would the flow be too little for the media to be effective ?
